5 Day Stop Smoking Plan:
These principles also apply to other addictions as well! 🤗❤️🤗
- Say no for 5-10 seconds and the urge will go away for 5-10 minutes.
- Say, “In the strength Jesus Christ gives me, I choose not to smoke THIS cigarette.”
- Omit these foods from your diet: meat, sugar, grease/oil, spicy foods, eggs (as they increase cravings)
- Get at least one accountability partner.
- Get rid of the cigarettes, etc.
- Change your routine, go to a different environment (camping, etc), get fresh air
- Instead of putting a cigarette up to your mouth, get a bottle of water or juice and take a sip instead.
- STAY BUSY!
- Try a hot bath, as hot as you can stand for up to 1 hour to pull the nicotine out
- Take activated charcoal and drink lots of water.
- Spend time with your Heavenly Father, give Him legal consent to your life
