How to Quit Smoking (& Other Addictions) | Father in Heaven, Help Me to be Strong | Titus Morris

5 Day Stop Smoking Plan:
These principles also apply to other addictions as well! 🤗❤️🤗
- Say no for 5-10 seconds and the urge will go away for 5-10 minutes.
- Say, “In the strength Jesus Christ gives me, I choose not to smoke THIS cigarette.”
- Omit these foods from your diet: meat, sugar, grease/oil, spicy foods, eggs (as they increase cravings)
- Get at least one accountability partner.
- Get rid of the cigarettes, etc.
- Change your routine, go to a different environment (camping, etc), get fresh air
- Instead of putting a cigarette up to your mouth, get a bottle of water or juice and take a sip instead.
- STAY BUSY!
- Try a hot bath, as hot as you can stand for up to 1 hour to pull the nicotine out
- Take activated charcoal and drink lots of water.
- Spend time with your Heavenly Father, give Him legal consent to your life

I had two go rounds with smoking and in both cases with Gods grace I stopped and in both accounts I had no withdrawals it was as if I never had smoked, God is Good. Severe, long-time alcoholic here. Thanks for the video. I have my first and only child, a daughter, arriving in a month or so. I have tried and failed getting sober so many times that ive become almost uncaring... Jaded. I know that if i dont stop, it will kill me early. Quitting now might be the difference between dying in my 40s or 50s, and dying in my 80s or 90s... I know i should be here for my daughter, as long as i can be. Cigarettes are such a bad thing and unfortunately, I have done it too starting at an early age. And, when I was living in VA (Leesburg) one morning I woke up with this feeling of being in a big shine. I couldn`t get out of my bed for like 30 minutes floating in this bright feeling. And, so after that, I stopped smoking and started living a better life. Ever since I haven`t smoked regularly and I only smoked when drinking, but because of that, I stopped drinking too even beer. Praise YHWH! 🙏 I'm grateful to Titus and the men coming forward about their challenges as well! I'm hoping to be a help to my father who is addicted. My husband and I struggled with addiction to cigarettes for a long time, we also initially slowed down due to cost, then we started to realize the cost it was to our health was greater. We quit before accepting salvation but I don't think we would've been able to continue fighting the temptation without the Lord! Every feat once in a while we do feel tempted when stressed out and smell some tobacco we used to like, but then praying to the Lord immediately helps soothe us and it's like a wake up call. It's been over seven years! I hope the best for others too.

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ brethren. My name is Steven M from Louisiana. Pray for me to quit smoking. Im 58 and have smoked for over 40 years. I am ashamed of it but a slave to it. The kingdom of darkness has come against me in the last 3 years. I gave up heavy drinking 6 months ago praise God. Now the cigarettes is a big problem for me. Thank you Titus for the message and the men for sharing their stories. I'm in that pit for smoking, I know that I'm doing damage to myself and what really hurts. Is knowing that the Holy Spirit Jesus lives in me. So I'm hurting Jesus too, it is so true about the keeping your hands busy. I ask for Prayers for the strength to stop for I'm a chain smoker one after another. I really enjoy watching you Titus, I've been trying to keep up with Peter in his travels.
