I think that’s awesome utilizing technology and being able to bid a job from your computer. The only problem I can see is what if you get there and it’s much worse than expected? It would be hard to go up and still land that job. Ps I’m not criticizing just honestly trying to learn and am genuinely curious about that situation. I’m looking to get a commercial job where the building is a 8888 sq ft 2 story building and I’m looking to have my primary rate be 20cents/sq ft so that’d be around $1800. Since it’d be my first real customer should I undercharge to get the landlord as a return client? Or would you go all out and charge the $1800?

Maybe im wrong but your math seems off. The true square footage would be length by height right? For example i have 60ft long by 10 foot tall that one side would be 600 square foot right? Times that by 2 (for the other side) thats 1200sq ft. The other 2 sides are 20ft by 10ft to equal 200sq ft for a grand total of 1400 sq ft. 1400 x .20 = 280.00. The height plays a part right?

in my area the average company charges 10cents for concrete and siding, stucko is 15 cents........ heres a house i did for 870. i asked for 900 and we came down to 870....... 792 Preservation Circle, Pawleys Island, SC..... we did front and back patios and 2nd floor patio as well. 3900qft of concrete, 1700 of pavers in the back, 5000sqft house all brick./............... according to some base math this should be a 2k+ job
