How does one increase the height of the door opening for a hip roof?

hi Greg do u have a roof design service where i can send u a basic drawing of my hip roof to connect to another hip roof. my roof is currently a square hip roof with a flat roof that has an L shape around the hip roof. if u don't have a service do u know where or who should i talk to get it design.

What about an attached garage where the rafter ties sit on top of the header

If rafter ties can't be raised or attached to header with joist hangers, then I don't see a reason for raising the header.
