I don’t know if I’ve ever heard more people whining about a closed beta. These exist ALL the time, and this seems to be the one that’s got people upset, you can’t find a single piece of Tarkov content without people complaining they didn’t get invited

@@MGE-Gibs i was also lucky enough to get access and I think it’s unfortunate the way it’s being done, but I fail to see where it was ever stated that EOD holders get first come first serve access. I saw a clip of Nikita speaking in broken English saying something along those lines once, but any other information you can find doesn’t say that EOD holders get first access. It says “guaranteed instant access to beta” referring to Tarkov standard. but people are getting upset as if they bought EOD for arena, when in reality no one bought it for that

Also you can cheese the cleanup crew by going probe and Alt E or Q to lean into the ground and they can’t shoot you hardly at all. You can heal while you do it too. I forget the way to bind it but you can hit your hot key and select what body part to heal if you set it up.

Gibs, love the content. Bind discard brother, it's in settings. When you press the key it will allow you to quickly discard shit, also ctrl click sends stuff over to a different inventory a billion times faster.

I rock keyboards with no Alt key on the left-hand side. This causes me to re-gig a few other keys too. Blind Discard for me is Shift+Ctrl. Never looked back 👍

Using friendly or enemy guns off their body gives you XP for killing people within the same category. So if you use a MPX from CQB while grinding marksman, you still get xp towards marksman kits

Winning and being mvp seem to work fine for me. About 10k a match. Tourney is good as even if you get second or third I believe you still earn arp. So it's a safer route to take.

What is considered looting though? Do I need to touch the body or do I need to transfer gear or can I just throw them on the floor

You need to transfer loot, just touching the body won’t work. Believe you can discard after but even just meds makes a difference

You get used to the feel of the “center” of your aim with time, a overlay crosshair wouldn’t help at all because your barrel is not aimed dead center since it sways and pivots off your PMCs shoulder

I think looting is a great tip, but the best way to level up for everyone is winning. The problem I see with this is now my already blind teammates (and myself) are going to focus on looting than helping kill the enemy team and win the match. Nonetheless good video and nice tips!

A level 3 NIJ steel plate will stop way more than 18 5.56 FMJ rounds, it even took 400+ rounds of 9mm to finally pen a level 3 plate

@@Swagmessiah8394 blunt force from a 5.56 fmj is negligible tbh especially on steel with a trauma plate behind it, it all comes down to back face deformation, a guy tested how much force would be felt from being shot in a plate while standing on one leg and got shot with .308 out of a Fal a few feet away and didn’t rock back at all

Instead of right clicking your gear and going to discard just hover over what you want to drop and push delete. You'll drop it instantly. Then you can just Alt+left click the gear on. Super fast and easy

so thats cool and all but none of this is exactly practical when in a game. i think just overall they need to lighten up on how much xp it takes to unlock classes. i have 58 games and im on my 4th class and will be until i have 100 games probably. every time a get a new class its like i get 3-5 balanced games then im back to fighting people who are sometimes 3 kit levels ahead of me and you might think "well its your 4th kit you probably have good armor and ammo" wrong. every gun in this tree has had the most troll ammo imaginable. 4th kit has decent chest rig and a gun shooting m856.. i was in a game with that kit last night where 2 of the enemies had HK's with m995 and the rest had various classes all with pbp. the matchmaking alone is a whole other problem on why its hard to level classes because under those circumstances its hard to get kills let alone win and get the max xp. i dont think bsg even understands their own ammo/armor system so they barely know what kits are equal to others and thats why we have this issue but even if that wasnt an issue its still way to much xp to unlock one kit. i think im safe in saying that most people who were excited for arena were excited because it was a way for them to get into the fun gun fights of tarkov without the daunting grind. this is no different then regular tarkov, you have to spend a ridiculous amount of hours grinding before you can fight on equal footing and its really not fun. i dont want there to not be progression, but as i sit here and look at my next kit with 50,000 xp out of 250,000 xp after about 7-8 wins.. yeah it seems like a bit much..
