Fundamental 7. Clear communication Gotta love it when my team is silent af, no info nor pings. Regardless, I still make callouts to help with info, helps streamline the process of gathering info and I believe it's saved me multiple games. Please get mics and turn on comms, I'm too tired of losing games because the team isn't communicating

The music one is interesting. I have always found having lofi playing in the background to help reduce rage. I also know many rocket league pros play with music in pro tournaments... which ik is different but still interesting to consider

I think if you feel like you HAVE to play with music, you should use music that has no vocals or beat. Different game, but I've used dungeon synth or other ambient music to keep my heart rate low and keep myself from panicking in the top 10.

it kinda depends if you want to 100% focus cuz its your rank up/derank play without music as playing with music makes you focus less intensely however it helps you focus for longer so if you play 2 or more matches play with music or take a break in between also in RL audio is kinda useless

I play music with really low volume. I can hear audio queues just as clear as without music because the volume is just too low to be a hindrance. The thing with music in the background for me personally is that it calms me down. Really helps me keep my cool in clutch situations. I also feel the benefit of having a more precise aim because my hands are not shaking so much but that might be placebo

i play like 2-3 hours a day, usually about 4 games, 1 dm in between each including one at the start and end of the whole session. i’ve been seeing a lot of improvement recently. i dropped my duo and hit plat but i’m now back with him and dropped to gold 1. he’s deadweight but he’s my best bud so i couldn’t care less. i got the plat buddy, doesn’t matter to keep it. rather have fun with my friends than play this game religiously like some people i know

everytime i start the game after a long break my gameplay is ass and i'm glad i can analyse my mistakes in every single action i make. i simply freak out on people expecting too much from someone after they died instantly or people picking an agent & not using them how they supposed to be used. or realise that you're that braindead teammate unless you match mvp over 50% of your games and have a 55%+ winrate. You get put in lobbies of roughly your own skill level, therefore you are as likely to be making the offences your teammates are making. It just requires you actually watching over your own VODs to finally see it :)

Great tips ! Thanks for this video. However, I must say that the tip about the Jack 3.5 versus the USB headphones is absolutely false. There's no lag in a Jack Aux headphones, no more than a USB. The reason of that is that it is an analog signal, there's no need to convert it to a digital signal. And every technical installation for music event such as concerts for instance, uses Jack 3.5 mm "Aux" cable. It is absolutely as good as USB if not better from a lag perspective. Most of the top quality Headsets are also plugged in Jack, this is absolutely not any kind of "Retro plug" or anything. It is some quality and technical way of transmitting sound.

I have always struggled with aim on anyrhing that doesnt have a scope. However, i managed to climb from bronze 1 to gold 1, forcing op whenever possible, playing with teammates that would do anything to get that gun into my hands. I average 1,5-2,8kd with that gun. This is all true but also it’s simply impossible to carry 3-4 other people on your back. Therefore u need a good squad, solo queue is impossible.
