I’ve hunted for 25 years. This will be my first time to use a rattle. This guy is a monster and I hope I don’t mess it up. I have actually real deer antlers. I so hope I don’t blow this. The widow for this buck is small bc he’s a early morning late night buck. He comes out of a deep draw into an open field here in north Arkansas in hills. I actually recently got my life back on track with God while hunting. Best for me to talk to God. I subbed not only bc it’s great wisdom on hunting but wisdom on God too!

Amen brother, God will get you through ANYTHING. I have hunted for the past 4 years and haven't been able to get anything untill this year. I have focused on getting closer to my lord and savior for the past year and not focusing on success but rather being grateful and so far he had absolutely came through for my, I'm on my second harvest already and truly have faith that he will come through with a buck for me. He NEVER fails when you truly hand over your heart, not only did I receive 2 harvests but absolutely priceless life long lessons that will absolutely increase my success in the woods!All the glory to God he is always working, thank you Jesus hallelujah and amen!❣️🙏

I love your videos, I'm 74 years old and have a lot of physical issues and no longer get to hunt but watching your videos is nearly as good being in the tree myself . I loved grunting and rattling. The way you do it is very similar of mine. I wish I would have run across them 20 or so years ago, keep them coming, I do like your trophy wall. but i never mounted any i used that money to buy more hunting toys or maybe a new gun. My complete passion though was bow hunting , there is nothing that comes even close. Take care, now I'm going back to your video. P.S. IF YOU HAVE ANY HOG HUNTS WITH YOUR BOW WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM AS WELL.
Love your passion and truth. I review this video every hunting season. It works! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

I have to say Sean, I just got back from my Archery Elk Hunt, and boy did I spend a lot of time with God. Positioned in front of tree, callin', glassin', and waitin' sure gives you a lot of time to spend with God. I had some prayers answered while out there and the peacefulness I felt was amazing. God did bless me with a 43 yard shot that downed an elk in less than 2 minutes. Amazing time, God Bless and thanks for all the videos.

Man i was listening to this at work today and i appreciate what you said about talking to god in the tree stand. Opening morning of rifle season in Arkansas i had a young buck chasing a doe by my stand and shot at him and missed but i said a prayer and not long afterwards the same doe came back by and sure enough that young buck came right behind her and i was better prepared for the shot and got him good. Not saying god sent the deer back by me lol but i count it as blessing that the deer came back by my stand and had another opportunity to get him.

It’s tough to say. Only other thing I’d suggest is to keep going to fresh spots where the deer are not used to you being there. If you are going to the same spots too often they figure you out quick and smart bucks avoid those areas.

Hi Sean, great info. I am taking notes to stick onto my calls with a label maker. Time of year, duration, frequency, time of day, other notes to remember from your videos. I like the hanging rope to antler idea. You said in a comment response 1 or 2 times every 20minutes with a 20sec to minute duration but DONT over due it. Do you think it makes sense to add no more than X times in a day to preserve your hunt spot? I am trying to navigate when to use the grunt, bleat, and rattle during archery this 2nd week of November without over doing it on each.

@seansoutdoors5 жыл бұрын
You have to be careful. If you are using a decoy, you can try a little calling. If you call too much and deer don't see another deer that is making the calls, they will get nervous and may not come in. I would say use those things as a last resort.

@seansoutdoors5 жыл бұрын
I just do it one or two times in about the last half hour of a hunt if doing it in the evening. If doing it in the morning. You could do it for a little 20 seconds to a minute long, and repeat one or two times every 20 minutes, but not too much. You don't want to spook up a spot by trying it too often.

I would focus on what I mentioned in my other replies. If you do decide to feed them, do not try to get close to deer during October November and early December. That is their mating season and the bucks could potentially attack during that time. Be safe.

You can talk to God regardless. Many native american Indians often referred to the Holy Spirit as, the Spirit that moves through all things.

Sean's Outdoor Adventures he is not a god and we are polytheistic not monotheistic means there is many spirits. I was referring to the verses not the ending. I do not read or own a bible ever since I could freely practice my religion. I would rather not go back to thoughs times. Just was cought off gard by that. Was hoping to enter but I can in no way to that.

@@ScarletCandlelight You can read the verses online for free. I think your reasoning is inefficient in this way, there is clearly truth that can be learned, and it is our duty to ourselves to seek and strive to find the truth of reality and God's plan. If you begin to read Scripture and realize that Jesus is the one true God, and you have found the truth, then REJOICE! If you read Scripture and it does not change anything, then nothing lost, you are simply learning what other people believe. If you had a bad experience in the past with religion, I can understand a hesitation, but I also would encourage you to not let a bad experience be the reason you do not seek to find and follow the truth in your life. You certainly are free and if you do not want to try to win the bow because you do not want to read the Bible, you are free to make that choice. However, I won't feel sorry for you in any way, because I don't agree with the logic behind the choice.

I grew up in an abusive vary religious home. That used the religion to hurt me. I was also molested all though Sunday school and even now ever church I have been to I did get molesstited in. I escaped my abusive family and got to practice my religion with Grandmother who is full blood. I rejoined the tribe but even today I have PTSD from seeing churches, or hearing/reading anything that goes under the religion. Sorry but it isn't my religion and I can't read it. Sorry my reasons mean nothing to you. Guess you have to be me to understand. So that is why I can't enter.

@@ScarletCandlelight It is a shame you have had to suffer at because people chose to live sinful lives. I understand that people hurt you and your wounds make it hard to hear the teachings that God has passed on rather than just remember the people who chose to be sinners. I'll be praying for your spiritual and emotional healing, and for you to one day be able to hear the teachings without associating the truth with the sinful acts of people. God bless you .

If you say so. I’ve given away over 60 compound bows in the last few years and none of those people say they are a scam.
