Thank you so much. You were the only video that I found that showed me what to do when the searching searching came up. Back line now. Again thank you very much.

Thanks for posting this. We upgraded Verizon wireless hotspot (no cable in neighborhood) and had a bunch of devices to reconnect to Wifi. Most were easy, Generac was one of the more difficult. Your guidance was perfect and easy to follow.

Thank you SOOOOO much. The generac site was no help at all with instructions on how to connect the generator to WiFi. You saved the day!!! Thank you again!!!

Thank you! Much better than instructions on the Mobile Link app! ❤

Thank you very much. I tried so many other methods, including the Generac instructions, with no success. I did purchase a router with greater bandwidth and installed an extender closer to the unit. The brick wall posed a minor problem. I suggest this to other users with brick construction. However, all of that was in vane until your instructions did the trick. I recommend all Generac installers to share this with their customers. Kudos to you. 👏👏👏👏👏

This helped me. I had set up wifi once. Then wasn't happy that the generac was connecting to the farthest ap in my multi-ap house. When I tried to go back through the mobile link app, I couldn't figure out how to redo the wifi. This local webserver was on the front label but I forgot about it till I watched your video. The darn generac is still going the long way round so I'll have to figure something out to make it attach to the ap that is 20 feet away in the garage.

Great for Generac generators with onboard wifi. Is there a video for reconnecting the Generac Mobile Link module for a generator without onboard wifi?

What if it pops up reading SSID instead of the unit number?

Very helpful - generac does a horrible job of making the hard buttons intuitive

I have had my generator for over 10 years now. We had a couple of tornado's in the area (Houston, Tx) and we were out of power for over 6 days. The generator ran for that 6 day period, night and day. I did stop it and check the oil several times (It was OK) and I started it back up and it continued to run without any problem. Mobile Link was available at that time but I did not get it. Now both WIFI and Mobile Link is available but after reading the problems people have experienced I have about talked myself into NOT getting either one. It would be just one more thing to fail. On the news it showed AT&T has massive cellphone/internet outages and Verizon may not be far behind. If this is caused by hackers I would not want them to get into my generator and shut it off during a storm or power failure.
