You're right but you're wrong. He did "change the FiLtEr", but it's not called a filter, it's just called coloration in the cinematography industry. Either way though it is misleading.

best way to do this take little amount of water heat it and add powder stir it well up to 10 mins minimum then soak the jeans in it up to 20 mins don't add any excess water trust me your jeans going to be look brand new I have been doing this thing from years this thing works perfectly

I remember doing this, depending on the fabric, and the whole treatment is many days. You have to let the fabric absorb the tint longer than the instructions, then you have to use salt 🧂 in your first rinse to prevent discolouration. The clothes should not be squeezed or wrinkled to prevents marks. You need to work in a place where stains won’t matter because the paint is going to be escaping anyway. Your coloured clothes need to be washed by hand and never touching clothes with other lighter colours. It isn’t easy as a 3 minutes video, but it’s way cheaper that buying good quality jeans or sweaters. Just be patient and remember, colour black isn’t really black anyway.

Something to also note is that if you do dye your jeans, the labels on them will be dyed black as well. This happened when I re-dyed a pair of black Levi's but I can still read the labels well.

also after you rinse and the dye runs clear, add water in sink that should cover item,(you have item of of sink) put a quarter cup of white vinegar or salt, mix in the clear water and then put item in water an soak for ten minutes this will help the dye to set and thus run less.

Hey jair this might be a dumb request but, i ordered two pairs of jeans off Hco. I really like the first pair but the second pair is really flimsy and doesn't hold around the calves.They're almost like a pair of slacks i hate it lol. Do you know if there's a way to fix this kinda thing?

I’m not sure how good this will work. However I do know that color adjustments have been tapered with. Look at the before and after, then look at the color of everything else in the background.
