How to re set a Laguna tyre pressure sensor - for free!

Friend of mine was getting annoyed at the warning light on his laguna 2, so I googled a few things that didn't work, so tried myself. Not sure how long the light will stay off, but as you can see it works.
Simply pop off the second from the top fuse with the keycard not in and hey presto, its off! Keycard back in and light and tyre warning display was as it should be, saves going to Renault :)
Music is by Wynd Chimes, and on my list to learn!

Just done it and my tyres are showing on the lcd again and warning light out, thank you easy fix and saved me money

It worked for me! Renault don't make it easy to get their fuses in and out, but it can be done. I'm very grateful to J Bass, as he's saved me a few quid. If he looks for me in my local I'll gladly buy him a pint - if he can recognise me from the photo! Seriously, thanks again..

Hi. What did you actually do to the fuse...just touch the metal part with something metal?

jonannlou beats disconnecting the battery, Mine also has a wobbly starting on it's own sometimes when I pop my card in.

Is there a particular thing you have to do to get the fuse out? I'm a car novice and was trying to pull it out and it wouldn't budge. I didn't want to pull to hard incase I buggers anything, but thought it'd be safer to ask first lol

I actually just used the knife you see in the vid! Look at the fuse and there's a bit of a lip you can get under, or get a proper fuse puller. Good luck and let me know how you get on

A better solution is to buy VAG wire for less than 10$ and disable pressure checking in a car computer. It also gives more options and basic failures detection.

It worked. But only until I had droven around 5 k. Then it switched back on.

:D By 5 k I mean 5 kilometers or around 3,5 miles. Its gonna wear down the fuseboxlid if use this solution :D :D
