I had my tires rotated a few days ago. Immediately upon driving the vehicle I noticed that the Message Occurring and the little symbols in the indicating a low tire lite up. I went back and apparently the service department didn't have the time to reset the tire pressure monitor system they said it would take a couple hours before they could get to it. Couple days later I'm working out on the road and decide to pull into another tire dealer to see if they could go ahead and reset the pressure monitor system , again they couldn't get to it for couples. Frustrated I decided to come home and look it up on KZbin to see what I can find. Keep in mind I'm a 68-year-old female and I move a little slower then normal. . I pulled up your video and noticed how easy it was to reset it, I then grabbed my keys and went outside. I followed your instructions . Thank you with all my heart for sharing your knowledge. Perfect! Thank you thank you! I just picked up a 2008 Chevy Uplander and right away got the Tire Pressure System Warning. I thought for sure I was in for an expensive diagnostic and repair. But this worked like a charm!!! Within 5 minutes, the warning was gone and my display showed me an accurate pressure reading for all 4 tires!!! Thank you thank you thank you!

I watched this and reset my 2010 Camaro. My light has been on for several months and I thought I was going to have to go to the dealership for shell out big bucks. It was SO easy!! By the way, I am female, so if I say it's easy, it definitely is.

Figured it out, I have a 2009 Silverado. I put key in ignition , Held down the lock and unlock on remote until horn honked that put it in learn mode. Then followed the steps in your video. Thanks for the video. hope this helps others that rotate their own tires.

You're awesome thanks for this video. I just had my front passenger tire and sensor changed on my work van by firestone and they could not reset the sensor for some reason. I left pissed. I came home and looked up and found your video on youtube followed the procedure and now I'm right as rain.:) Thanks again man.

My 2010 chevy express doesn't have that setting on the second button down. So now I don't know how to reset it. Keeps saying both rear tires are low and to add air when they have the right pressure.

Awesome!! Thank you for sharing. I'm going to do this tomorrow on my Chevy Avalanche. I was concerned that something needed to be repaired, but I'm going to try this first. Since I pressed "Relearn Tire Pressure" after putting air in one of my tires and then drove off. Since then the Service Tire Monitoring System warning has been coming on intermittently for like 3 days.

If tpms still shows and all tires are good check your full spare tire , note full spare tire on mine was low making my tpms on my Toyota set off every couple of miles.

Mine doesn't show the press check mark to relearn tire positions 🙄 had one tire from last year that was on passenger front that was not reading then got three new ones they put that tire from last year to back passenger and it's still not reading back there, any suggestions, should I just buy a new one to put there

I thought when you're letting the air out of the tire you have to wait for the beep. What you're doing is letting the air out and then going back to the command center and pushing the check button. I never heard of that procedure all I heard was letting the air out of the tire and then as soon as it beeps it recognizes the where the sensor is and then you go to the other tire and do the same thing let the air out and then hear the beep and then go to the next higher not keep going back to the command center

I changed my rear tire on my 2010 express and the tire I replaced it with hasMax air inflation is 40psi my van is 80psi how.do I change it to 35 psi so when ever I get the tire rotating at a hire speed the tire.will grow beyond it's tire belt Witch will warp the tire because the steel belts has separated or stretched causing the tire to warp and I don't want it to happen again as with my original tires that was on the rear set at it's correct air settings I would like the low air indicator light to stay off How do I reprogram it's manufactured setting

Mine comes on every "winter." I think once the temperature goes below freezing. I always assumed it was signalling a low tire pressure because of cold temps. Wisconsin driver.

Mine does it in the winter for low tire pressure and in the summer for high tire pressure. Normally, I can just add or drain some air to get it back to where it wants to be. The reason I did a search and found this video is because I recently had a tire replaced and the computer has no idea what the tire pressure is at

you really only need to let air out for one second & then just wait for the beep. one second is all it takes to wake the sensor.

Unfortunately this procedure only works on certain GM cars and trucks. What you can try doing is this. #1 apply parking brake #2 turn key on (do not start) #3 turn the parking lights on and off. (If the car honks twice as shown in the video, then it worked. If it does not honk you may have an issue with a sensor or the cars main tpms computer.) # starting at the driver from tire let air out till the car honks. Then move to the passenger front, then passenger rear, then driver rear. Car should honk twice if system is reset. #4 turn key off then back on to check results. If this doesn't work contact a local tire shop or your dealer to diagnose issues with TPMS.
