How to re-string a Stihl FSA 90 R trimmer line

ENG: In this video you can see how you can easily replace a wire from the spool of a Stihl brushcutter. I have the Stihl FSA90R grass trimmer. This has the autocut 25-2 cutting head as standard. It is quite easy to replace the wire. I myself bought a very large coil of wire (253m/830 feet), because it was really much cheaper than such a small coil. The thickness of the wire here is 2.4mm (0.095"), but you can adjust this. Just keep in mind that you will also have to adjust the length of the spooled thread. Thicker wire = fewer gauges that will fit on the bobbin. I can certainly work for a few years without having to buy new wire!
NL: In deze video ziet u hoe u eenvoudig een draad van de spoel van een Stihl bosmaaier kunt vervangen. Ik heb de Stihl FSA90R grastrimmer. Deze heeft standaard de autocut 25-2 snijkop. Het is vrij eenvoudig om de draad te vervangen. Ik heb zelf een hele grote rol draad gekocht (253m), omdat die echt veel goedkoper was dan zo'n kleine draadrol. De dikte van de draad is 2,4 mm, maar je kunt dit aanpassen. Houd er wel rekening mee dat u ook de lengte van de spoeldraad moet aanpassen. Dikkere draad = minder meters die op de spoel passen. Ik kan zeker een paar jaar werken zonder nieuwe draad te hoeven kopen!
