Our day began as we boarded the iconic Goa Express 12780 in Pune, eagerly anticipating the breathtaking journey that awaited us. As the sun rose, we arrived in Vasco da Gama, Goa, ready to explore this tropical paradise.
From Vasco da Gama, we hopped onto an air-conditioned shuttle bus that took us to the heart of Goa, Panjim. The charming streets and vibrant atmosphere set the perfect tone for our day ahead.
Our first destination was the renowned Calangute Beach, where we found a comfortable hotel to make our base. After settling in, we decided to explore the coastal beauty of Goa on our rented Yamaha Fascino scooter, which cost us a mere 350 rupees for the entire day.
Next up, we headed to Baga Beach, one of the most popular spots for water sports enthusiasts. We decided to go all out and purchased an exciting package that included five thrilling activities. These activities were parasailing, a banana ride, a speed boat adventure, a bumper ride, and a high-speed jet ski experience.
While the package seemed like a great deal, we soon found out that some rides required additional fees for enhanced experiences. For instance, if you wanted to soar to greater heights while parasailing, you had to pay an extra 300 rupees. It felt like they were asking for extra money for each ride to ensure we could enjoy it to the fullest. Nevertheless, the adrenaline rush and stunning coastal views were well worth it.
After a day filled with thrilling adventures, we returned to our hotel for some relaxation and enjoyment at the swimming pool. It was the perfect way to unwind and reflect on our action-packed day.
As the sun set, we wrapped up our day with a delicious vegetarian dinner at the Curry Leaves restaurant, savoring the rich flavors of Goan cuisine. From delectable curries to flavorful rice dishes, it was a culinary delight that perfectly capped off our unforgettable day in Goa.
