From what I understand, galactic cores are best avoided anyways. They usually consist of a giant black hole that will swallow you up and smash you to tiny bits. Not my idea of a vacation destination!

Gotta thank you man. After 300 hours, I left Euclid. Took me about 5 hours for hilbrand. I used the technique you showed here. But had to figure out how to find those claimable bases without coordinates. Exotic/lifeless/airless planets have a HUGE success using the commercial maps to find habitable bases. I just did calypso galaxy in 15 minutes! So portals to the near center work ;)

Update: you can use same portal glymphs on any galaxy it will throw you 3000ly near center, just tried that. You can find wild base computer by using planetary maps, so buy as many as you can before you jump portal. I hope Jason will read this.

If you're already at the center you can just use a black hole at the center then jump to the next galaxy. It will put you 3k from the center in the new galaxy. Takes under 5mins

All you have to do is find any black hole at the center, after going through it, find a system that points you to the galactic core then jump galalxies. Make sure you have full hyperdrive fuel before jumping to the center, then you'll see the orange line pointing you to the center.

Another method.. have a friend with you. Find portal. Dial the last glyph 16 times. When you arrive have your friend jump to your galaxy from the nexus. When they arrive jump back through the portal. Enter nexus. Exit nexus to your friends galaxy. You now are only a few ly from center.

Update - since Origins, the Portal doesn't interfere with further warp jumps, so you can jump after you arrive on the planet without the build / return / warp. It does suck that you go to Hilbert no matter what if you've already opened Hilbert via the Atlas story line.

I had my doubts about this method but it worked perfectly for me. Cut 450,000 light years off my journey (that's a lot of jump, jump, jumping). Platform: PS4 One thing to note, when you make the base at the centre of Euclid, it will NOT appear on a normal teleporter list, you MUST use the Anomaly hub teleporter. Subscribed (obviously).

I did exactly what you said. I turned off my STEAM connection to play offline ( I use PC ) and set NMS to no other access from players. I went to the portal and it worked flawlessly. Thanks Jason and your referrals of origin. Good Info!!!

I've been playing for a yr or so, and have a saved game where I have already found the edge of the GC and had no idea how to make the last jump. I didn’t realise that the interstellar terminus allowed you to travel between the galaxies, I stayed in the first galaxy as I hadn’t finished with my exploring and I wanted a better ship before I went to the next galaxy. then people started showing these cool ships from the first galaxy. I didn’t want to leave in case I missed one I needed. But now I can go and come back, awesome, thanks.

This Guide still works , funniest thing happened to me the planet i arrived at after going through the Galactic Core was full of angry Sentinels who upon my arrival let me have it bullets flying everywhere from 6 of them and with all my stuff newly broke from the galaxy jump had me running away , fortunately i switched my multitool and hit terrain manipulator dug down to escape and tunneled for 500 units until i came to my ship was fun.

You can literally cut out half the steps you did in the beginning. 1. Just google portal address for closest planet to the center. 2. Go there and head to orbit. 3. Fill warp core and open galaxy map. 4. Set filter path to center. 5. Hold R2 or L2, which ever one focuses in on you in the galaxy map then turn the cam until you see a circle loading in the top left corner of your screen. The end 😉

So far I've seen visited about 20 with about 1K+ hours logged And since the time this was Posted the Damages Ships have become a thing of No matter as in 2022 You could pilot and warp your Freighter across the Galactic Threshold if you use that option their warp range is always quite high And as somebody else Mentioned I do remember the isolated Planet with Lots of player markers, and it took me several attempts to get through the Center manually. Only1 time, the other times was via the Final Atlas Interface, which gave you a choice of landing destinations. Vets Tip use the Freighter on subsequent warp jumps, OR look for other players bases on the Transporter portals or the Featured Bases They sometimes have Galaxy location names😀

Wasnt too far off, then I did all the living ship stuff, and ended up back in starting game range. If you can jump 3K light years at a time you can easily travel to the center in around 6 hours without black holes just relying on warp hypercores and minimal station and planetary stops! I did it traveling from Eisentam to Elkupalos while only being able to jump a max of about 2700 light years at a time! I am getting ready to head to the next in that list Aptarkaba, but I think I may use my present game save to see how many galaxies I can make it to, there are 255 total!

I think black holes are useless if you want to get to the core. It's because black holes are located on the ring around the core. So after black hole jump you will always be almost same distance from the core but in different sector

How can i get to a portal?

@@ffixi Go to a space station, and find the cartographer. Buy a few purple maps from him. Next, go to a trade center in the system you want a portal. Wait for a ship to land, and trade with the being. Then, get one of the artifacts, (i.e. korvax casing, vy'keen dagger, and the gek one [not gek nip]). Next, use the purple maps until you find an alien monolith. Go to the monolith, and itll ask you a riddle. Make sure you have access to a quick save right before you interact with the monolith. If you get the riddle right, you will be able to use the artifact that you bought earlier on the monolith, and you will receive portal coordinates. If you get the riddle wrong, you have reload the save until you get it right. There ya go!

The fastest intergalactic travel I’ve found, is to go to a portal and input Eclipse//Bird//Tree//Sunset//Atlas//dragonfly//Atlas//Atlas//Tree//Atlas//Atlas//Atlas. This will bring to within 3000 light years of the galaxy centre And this address works for EACH galaxy meaning once you pass through just repeat the portal address to reach the centre and so on. From this point I can reach the galactic centre without even warping myself.

Flew to anomaly, used “stargate” travelled back to it! Built a “star gate” powered it up. Popped a save point down. Saved.Quit. Xbox settings. Go Online. Load up NMS. Go through my base “Stargate”. I travel between my bases in galaxies using my the base teleporters. No need to use anomoly. I got to the centre using another players base in the anomoly list. I built a base as well.

I have found 3 Galaxies via that Method too,Eissentam, Hilbert and Calypso before I rediscovered Eissentam formally at the end of the Atlas Path Mission .Still not built up my Hyperdrive reach range Much so I'm languishing on the 3K boundary in Calypso while I get that sorted (No Systems beyond this point) Have checked the Other galaxies (I discovered) and they too have this common Barrier and Yes as other people a saying I too am Using an A class with lots of Inventory slots rather than an S class ...Only Had 1 let down I Had a bigger slotted Ship which Totally lost everything when I Glitch crashed on a Weekend Nexus mission (In giant trees) on a Rescue . My Grave Marker was High in an adjacent tree! and I was reset back to the Anomaly empty pockets...That's stored on the Freighter as over-spill storage when I posted this

Just yesterday 2nd attempt We finally made is to the Hesperius Galaxy from Calypso Attempt #1 failed because I had No Blueprint for an Item to fix my Launch Thruster(Colbalt Mirror) and I was walking for miles on a Planets with No Buildings So I restarted my game @ the Manual save point 3 game hours earlier and Got the Missing blueprint built and stored 2x Cobalt Mirrors OK when it came to the Warp Jump the Rule is you have to Max out the Hyperdrive cell fuel Ok? Otherwise the Game refuses you to Cross the threshold And Just my luck the New Planet was Hot but generous on Resources and repairs Took about the same time as a Newbie starting NMS ,Hour and a Half perhaps then We Launched into space straight into a Freighter battle with 8 pirates! "Prize" was a 25 slot C after all that>Mine is a 35 slots A and Its unlikely I'll improve on that spec Next Galaxy jaunt will be Eissentam to I think the Hyades Galaxy in a few months And NO We're never going to Get to all 255 in my life time🤔

I've been sitting 3k ly away from the Galactic Core for day's trying to figure this out. I've left comments on multiple videos. There have been people to try to help me but, I don't think they were on the same platform. Thank you very much for this. I'm not entirely sure what you was talking about the right stick but i'll see if I can figure it out. On a side note after doing a bunch of Nexus missions I left the Atlas Interface. When I warped back to my original location I was engaged in a freighter saving battle. After i saved the freighter it turned out to be the flat freighter I wanted but, the wrong color and short. When I went in I checked it out and I couldn't believe it was an S class 34:8 on my first try. It's still short but, the color is good enough and I bought it. I like it better than my longer Sentinel freighter. Also would the claiming a base work on any base where you warped to? Just to get a point to get there in the Atlas Interface? THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! edit: I rechecked my freighter and am correcting the 39:9 to 34:8.

Just point the stick in the direction of the golden line, in my case it was up, and hold it there. You will get that loading circle, just keep holding it in that direction

@@JasonPlaysNMS I've followed the golden line all the way to where it shows 0 ly from the center and it doesn't do anything. If I go further it just deflects off the center and doesn't do anything. I'm going to try doing it different. From watching the video you were pointing towards the system when it started instead of the center. Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong.

For my first playthrough (Currently), I'm almost with done The Atlas Path. I already finnishe the Quest about Apollo, Artemis and -Null-. I want to finnish that first but I really want to do the First ever expedition to claim the Golden vector and Jetpack. I'm glad I chose to join this game this year. There is so much to do lol. Followed the guide step by step, claim the base, warp, and then instead of the center of the galaxy, it says "get ready for disappointment.

I've been able to teleport between my main base teleporter in the Elucid Galaxy and the space station teleporter closest to the galatic core (about 650K Ly so far) in the Eissentam Galaxy. If they changed this just recently, please, let me know

Tip: before you reset switch multi tool to your least preferred, along with your star ship. It won't save everything from being damaged, but it should save a lot of things...

Also "Store" all your exosuit tech as items. This will prevent it from being damaged.

I just made it to Eissentam via The Purge ending a couple of days ago. But I'm in Hilbert on my old laptop. Eissentam is cool, as it has more lush planets. But sometimes I miss Hilbert for the more frequent glitch planets, especially the mushroom ones. Also I find it helpful to bring a bunch of Wiring Looms (at least 40) before making the big galactic jump, because we know we'll be ending up with a lot of damaged equipment.

Just did this (not to the center yet, but the first portal jump). With multiplayer off there were still bases, and players all over the planet. Went into space, made a base on a close planet, then just used the space stations teleport to go back to my main base. Was just a bit over 3000 light years to center. Didn't do the center jump because after reading the comments (and done all the repairs from resetting the Atlas and going to a new galaxy) decided the junk ship idea was a real good one lol.

I got to the center of the galaxy without realizing. I was around 650 LY away, but as I was warping to another system, my game started glitching a lot. Then finally I arrived in a system with tons of people and I check the galaxy map and I’m AT the center. Made a base so I could go back.

Thanks for posting this. It was one of the few things I had not done and being over 650k LY away I didn't want to take the conventional route. Once I returned to the planet you gave instructions to by conventional means, I then deleted that base, enabled the network, flew to another nearby system, and built another base. I now have a permanent base near the Euclid core.

I finally broke down and followed the video from the start. I claimed the base instead of using my base that is also 3k ly from the center. For some reason it worked this time. I have read there are only so many access points that go to the center. I thought since I had a golden line from my base it was one of those locations. Maybe not though. Also my idea of using a low slot ship with no upgrades didn't work. I set down on a planet and called my red fighter that looks like your red fighter. I had more to repair but, I got there this year instead of warping forever. You definitely picked a great time to come out with this video. It's when I was looking all around for this exact video. Thank you very much. I would say it made me subscribe except I subscribed a long time ago. What will it do if I delete my base at the base computer location in the video? Will it affect that base or just remove my claim to it?

Jason there is a better way to get to the center if you go to the space anomaly you can teleport to a base it’s called g-mans_D base when you teleport there you can make a base and done you don’t need the glyphs and you don’t need to find anything it’s easier

Mate.... I maxed out my S class freighter and boldly set out to conquer galaxy center's, I traversed 15 galaxies and i put down a base at the centre of most of them and do you know what I found? Absolutely sod all, that's what. Then I found out that there are 256 galaxies, all procedurally generated and equally pointless.
