Here's an emergency study guide on calculus limits if you want some more help!
www.etsy.com/a...
You write the common calculus expressions all the time in your notes and homework, but do you actually know how to say them out loud? It's important to know what these symbols mean and how to say them so you can ask questions easily in your calculus class. We cover how to read limits, derivatives, integrals and summation symbols in this video.

Thank you SO much for this video! I'm not a native speaker and I'm taking an economics class in English, I was having trouble reading the formulas aloud, even just to memorize them myself... this was really exhaustive and very well expained, thank you!

Thanks I watch this everyday to get the language through my head, there’s not any other reading math videos out there and I find this helpful cuz otherwise it’s like reading a language you can’t pronounce

Great video. I always read for example: dV/dt | t=1 The derivative of V vs t when t is one. And if I knew V was, say, Voltage and t was, say, Time, I would read it as: The derivative of Voltage over Time when Time is one. Does anyone else read it that way? I am self taught math. Also, I read: S[0 ... pi] z*x^2+5 dx | z=e where: e is the natural exponential The integral from 0 to pi of z times x squared plus 5 with respect to x when z is e where e is the natural exponential. I always put a multiply operator between terms (even if they should be understood). I code a lot in programming languages, and zx is a single variable called zx, where in most math z and x would be assumed as separate single letter variables that are multiplied. In my formal code and documents (not here) I tend to be very explicit to avoid ambiguity. And in all my math I am very formal and include a where for each variable and constant. Even Pi! I am not writing equations on a black board or paper, my code should be clear to all audiences that may know math but are not familiar with the terms in the subject's context. Ever read advanced math books? They often expect you to know that q is say, the linearity factor in the book's context from some other source (never mentioned anywhere in that context). I find it lazy. I beleive that ALL equations should describe what EVERY variable and constant is for formality - especially when published. Saying e alone when "stating an equation without it in front of you" can get confusing especially if a variable e is used and you can't see the script e that stands for the natural exponential exclusively. Now, if I were reading from a blackboard, I would simply say "e" because it is clear to be the "script e" because everyone can see that. Yes, I sometimes have to read equations over the phone, or type them in an email where I don't have Microsoft Equation.
