I've been cross stitching for awhile and I wish I'd seen a presentation like Kimberly's when I started. I've already picked up tips (like loop method) from her previous videos so I'm watching every one of CSU videos--it's never too late to learn or develop better stitching habits.

I haven’t done a cross stitch project in years. At that time I stumbled around teaching myself as I went along. No videos to watch to help me out. But now I do have some projects from years back that I want to start AND finish in a timely manner. Now that I’m retired I have the time to learn how to do cross stitch properly. I’m very excited and can’t wait to start and to learn. Thank you so much.

I'm going to watch the stitch university to pick up more great ideas. I hope you talk about how to keep the thread from twisting. I'm also looking forward to learning how you stich from just the top side of your fabric. I spend a lot of time reaching under the fabric to grab my needle and send back up to the top. As someone else said... never to late to learn and pick up better stitch habits! Thank you!

Hello Luisa! Thank you for your feedback. We have a schedule available on our blog that we listed below the video: bit.ly/3jsu07F The reason that some of the questions have not been answered is because if we don't already know an answer we consult with our staffers that can help us give an accurate answer at their earliest convenience.

I see the finish size so in your example do i cut 6 inches of cloth and stitch in a 6 inch hoop? Im try to relearn everything all over again worst part of the stroke is the last thing I was doing was a Queen Elizabeth the 1 cross stitch pattern. Im determined to relearn it all over thanks for all those that help.

If the number of stitches is 71 x 71, what does the finished size measure? Why is it different from total number of stitches?
