So happy someone is actually teaching out this very classic and old natal reading technique of "coming to the end of the chart", where you find one or several major planet influences of the person, using planet rulership and archetype. It's also a very good technique to practice to actually learn astrology by understanding it's logic and it's core. People really interested in astrology should remember, understand and often practice planet and sign rulership, just play around with it, also with the houses is a good way. It's such a great and fun natal chart technique. Best way to learn and understand how astrology works. I remember reading about this technique in a astrology book ages ago and that knowledge was actually what "loosened" my actual deep understanding of astrology. Really helpful. Keep up what you're doing guys!

I understand rulerships and houses and all the basics but I am still not understanding how to pull the story together. Like, what is the formula? You are showing how to bring in all the energies and actors but not how to actually build a story or sentence from that? What is the structuring? That is what I fail to understand and all EAs out there show this sort of method but don't seem to give the nuts and bolts of how it all comes together.

I think your videos are good. This is more a personal frustration of mine....not being able to put the layers together. I understand the energies...but how they fit into the context of life is more difficult. I see how you are pulling the planets into the houses and the ping pong of energy. Again, this isn't a criticism of you and your interpretation, only my own irritation in being able to piece it all togethet.

Simon, I have to say that I feel very in sync with the timing of your videos as of late. I commented on a few of your recent videos about this and now this is yet another. I feel that I have been integrating EA at deeper levels and your videos are right on time for me and at the perfect level of understanding. In particular I am referring to your recent videos on the ascendent (one and two) and the one a few months back on the mutable cross. I did have a reading with you about a year and a half ago also and it was one of the best. Thank you!

Hi Simon, I am hoping that you will do a video on how to interpret planets and points that are on the sign cusps, not just house cusps. Is it possible for a planet on a sign cusp to have two rulers? For example, my Asc is 00 Gemini which is 30 degrees of Taurus. So who is the ruler of my Ascendant? Venus or Mercury? Both seem to fit! Ugh! I also have Uranus in 00 degrees of Virgo in my 4th house which is conjunct my Leo Sun in the 4th house. Leo rules the 4th house cusp so do I read my Uranus as 30 degrees of Leo? or 00 degrees of Virgo? And to complicate it, Mercury is in the 5th house in Virgo only 5 degrees away from Uranus! My Saturn is in Aquarius and it is retrograde. Someone told me this means I am doing over 2 lives at the same time - is this why I have this split ascendant? Thank you, Laura

You always round up degrees, meaning you Ascendent is in the first degree of the sign Gemini, you are not a Taurus-AS. Mercury is the ruler of your chart. Same with Uranus, it's in Virgo, but it is conjuct your Sun in Leo. That's very luck degree and aspect btw, so you should be pretty lucky.

@@RaisingVibrations👋good morning.. .Thank you I haven't read all that yet but one thing stands out as out of sync, the tropical house 12 is "the end". The sun rises in the east at ASC horizon line' which just looking at that point alone tells me it is the beginning Simon. The concept of the planets moving with or against us is significant! May be too simplistic to say those two topics differentiate evolutionary astrology from other philosophies of the stars or is it all mixed in, I see your using chart that follows the counter clock and numbered accordingly. What I gathered prior to today, is evolutionary astrology is about knowing the self and life path rather than "predictive" uses for the information. Does evolutionary astrology use sidereal to determine the stars position in a birth chart🤔
