Was the gaffed deck the one in the box, or sent separately?

So the gaffed deck was the one inside the kit, then there’s a normal deck that came with the kit inside the box when I receive it :)

Is the metal card shaped thing magnetic,? Jay Sanket released a card appearing in an envelope trick a long while ago. I'm winding if this is similar.
