I've done it once when I got saved. I was so hungry for His word that I spent day and night reading it. I knew I was led by the Holy Spirit because the words in the Bible came to life. God also healed the resentments I had towards my earthly father when I came to know Him. I have read the Bible over 20+ times , I always find something new. That is in part that every year I am growing and going through different stages of my life. Young married couple, Father, college student, leader, empty nester, grandparent ect. I have used many different plans all but the SOAP that Pastor Vlad spoke about, I have read 6 to eight versions of the Bible. One year I followed the "No Bible No breakfast plan" yes falls in the area of religious, but once you do something for two weeks it becomes a habit. Please memorize the word that the Holy Spirit draws your attention to and consider the SOAP plan. You'll not be sorry you read God's Word but you will regret not engrafting the Word in your heart.

And if you cut out all distractions you can probably read it all in about 5 months, I did thanks to the Holy Spirit. Make sure you don't read with religion or things you've heard in mind, but ask & let the Holy Spirit give you understanding & open your eyes to Truth.

What a great video and the timing of you posting is amazing. I'm just completing my journey of reading the Bible in a year and it's been transformational. Just this past Sunday I was discussing this with my mother and getting her motivated to read it all in 2025 and it's as if I watched your video before talking to her. I even explained a visual example to her to show how the daily intake of God's word will purify our earthly vessel, and it was the same example you used with the soda expect my example was black coffee. We went over checking boxes and Legalism. God works in amazing ways and this video dropped in our lap at a time it's needed. I've already shared with my mother this morning!! God is GREAT!!!

I haven’t read the whole Bible in a year, yet, nor have I read the whole Bible ever. There are still some books that I have never read, but I started the year 2024 reading the last 3 books of the New Testament, because I was determined to fully understand what God said about the second coming of Jesus, and it has caused me to not be afraid of Jesus’ second coming anymore. Before, I was afraid of what will happen, I believe it was because of lack of information, but after reading the book, I shared how it has transformed my heart by looking forward to eternity and doing things that have eternal value. I hope to finally be able to read the whole Bible for the year of 2025 to really grow deeper in the knowledge of God, thanks, pastor Vlad!

I’ve read the Bible in a year 3 times. Once as Vlad does (OT, NT, psalm and proverbs daily) and 2 times chronologically. I definitely see value in both strategies. You do get something chronologically that is much harder to get when it’s broken up, however, some of those old testament stretches, aren’t easy to stay motivated through the first time through and id recommend adding other scripture as well. The Bible Recap plan is an amazing resource for that. This year I plan to read through the whole thing quickly, book by book. I listened to a message by Francis Chan about doing this and it’s really piqued my curiosity. My goal is to complete it in 4 months, but I will follow the Holy Spirit leading.

I love God's Word. I listen to it on my headset daily. In fact, i have put the audio bible on mp3 and inserted in the bone conduction headset and is almost permanently worn on my head and I set alarm on ky phone that reminds me to pray with the Word at certain hours daily. It has helped me to internalise God's Word. I want to do more next year.

I was using a bible reading plan on my bible ap but I wasn’t super happy with how it was laid out and jumped all over the place. I’ve read through the New Testament many times but never straight through all of the Old Testament/whole bible. I was really hoping to this year! Was disappointed I didn’t continue with it but I felt like the Lord wanted me to stop with the reading plan and start reading the Old Testament prophets which I never fully read through before so that’s where I am now.. I believe 2025 will be the year I read the bible cover to cover! Lord help me have a hunger for your word!! Thank you Lord! In Jesus name, amen!

I did reply to you but I think KZbin auto block if you mention particular places to purchase a Bible from Originally I mentioned that the best place to start is by owning a physical copy of a Bible, you are more likely to read through it. If possible get one that has a year planner on the back so you can follow daily, ticking the dates as you go by from the old to the new testament. This has been a huge motivation for myself and I am sure it would benefit you also 😁

The only reason I was using the ap was to try to stay on track with a year bible reading plan I chose to follow. But I do prefer to read the real thing and that's what Ive been doing now!
