Christopher Hable This would be highly illegal anywhere in Europe and very expensive to get all the certificates (or impossible) to register it so it does not make much sense here.

Nice bike sir! My only suggestion would be to raise the seat or put a ton of padding on that steel right in front of your family jewels. Safety first.

Cheyenne Souza makes the bike handle better and for the padding I don't thing the fine builder rides the bike to church, work and to the store I think this guy won the bike build off of KZbin awsome

I am utterly impressed. I have never seen another fabricator creative enough to use Unistrut to fabricate a bike frame.

I would have never thought about using a bicycle frame to build a motorcycle. This is a thinking outside of the box that I would not have thought about doing. You are and inspiration +Kiwanis Jefferson to men of all ages and walks of life. At the moment I am converting a '95 xJ600 into electric. Once I am done, this will be my next project.

You say it's $500 but what you're not considering is your badass skills! The equipment I can get but it would take a whole lotta praying to do what you do. That's the part that cost way over $500.Keep up the good work. Definitely subscribing, maybe I'll learn something....LOL!

Much Respect dude!, You had an image that you created into a real physical object, all from an idea. That in itself is a great achievement and the bike looks epic for a total first DIY. I am just starting a tracker project with an old XF650. and loving watching the building videos on youtube, shows a real connection with your bike when your done. Seeing projects like this makes me wish I learnt how to weld. Then again maybe youtube can help with that as wel ;)

Nice work! But what I would recommend is checking your local laws about making it street legal. You may need to add turn signals and depending on where you live you may need to register it with the DMV.

Interesting build. If I were to do something like this, I'd go for the real retro 1920's style motorcycle look. If I could get ahold of a little one stroke or two stroke engine that is. Just maybe inspiration for someone else who'd like to try.

Thoughts about keeping all the original running gear and just using the bottom bracket (The bearing thing between the pedals) as the jack shaft? Maybe with a 130cc engine instead of a 301.

Really nice bike. I made my kids bike frame entirely out of rebar and a fence post for the backbone. Then my bike out of black pipe.

You are talented self -taught engineer- but math doesn't add up. Closer to 1000.00 than 500.00 but still a great job. (The donor bike was at least 500.00)

how fast does it go to be honest you could probably find some shifters for it and shift to different sprockets

It does about 45mph, it could be faster with torque converter.

I'm starting a build of my own Everything is pretty straightforward except for that gearing system at 3:41. I understand how it works, but what I don't know is what I need to make it happen Can someone explain it to me

If you run into any specific gearing issues let me know, It really just requires trial and error. Look at a mini bike gearing system as a model.

Cool overall idea and obviously great technical expertise but the design is a bit bare bones... honestly you could've made the frame a bit more aesthetically pleasing. Still, you've earned my like. Very nice job.
