Screen manufacturers should all add screen protectors onto their touchscreens during manufacturing process, some even did that for non-touchscreen models, and etching the glass instead of adding a matte screen protector will weakening the screen further.

You actually need to stick the guide sticker on the back of the phone and when you align the cover...THEN you stick the guides to the protector. So, you cannot move and lose the correct position of the protector.

I actually find the old “bathroom trick” helps since leaving the shower on hot and letting the room get moist enough helps with the bigger dust particles. I’ve gotten nearly perfect and perfect results doing screen protector installs like that as a result. Hell, it’s even easier to do glass protector installs now since even name brand and some Amazon brand protectors have little guide tools that attach to your phone to align the protector. Hell, Spigen has the entire thing in a cage to allow essentially 100% perfect alignment

Keep the phone screen facing down when cleaning, the protector hanging from the side, rip off the film from the protector and do not touch it, tilt the phone so that the protector lands on the screen. This greatly mitigates dust because the screen or the protector are not facing up after cleaning/removing the film.

The best way imo to apply a screen protector is using the guide sticker for reference instead then pullin off the inner film just around the corner then slowly pressing it down as u continue pulling on the film.

The first thing you should do is throw those wipes away! They leave residue! Use a generis glass cleaner instead and a piece of soft toilet paper to wipe it. Worked for me. Also, to the naked eye it might seem like a totally clean screen, but it's not! Take a flashlight and shine it onto the screen from the opposite side that you are looking at the screen. You will see several remaining dust particles. Remove those one by one and then apply the screen protector.

Have a look at the method that Arun 'MrWhosetheboss' shows in a video that HE made on the subject... Unlike this somewhat annoying guy, HE also addresses the biggest problem that can occur with the application of any screen protector (namely dust particles (and even hairs) that are airborne pretty much anywhere and often will end up sandwiched in in-between protector and the screen and that can hardly be avoided), and presents a way to cope with it!

Wrong order of steps! Dont clean until after you do the guide stickers because if you clean the screen then lay the temperered class down the removable cover is potentially dirty. Other videos on KZbin show the correct steps.

Tip: first stick the stickers to your phone and then to the glass when it's aligned. And also it's better to clear the screen after you have put those stickers on the phone and on the screen. And, it is very useful to add a third sticker on the other side to grub the glass when you place it. Don't do like he did 😁
