Thank you! Yes I do have planned the remaining steps/tutorials, things came up in life and things got busy so it's taking a little longer than I would like but please stay tuned if you enjoy them! I currently already have a video on weighting and assembling on my channel

Just found your tutorials and I must say - they are the most informative and "easy-to-follow" yet! Thank you! I am planning to try reborning my first kit soon, and I will most defenitely use these videos in the process 😃 Therefore I also need to ask if there are more videos to come? When I watched the part about creasing you said you use to do another layer later on, I'm curious about when 😊 Thank you once again! /Malin, Sweden

Thank you! I’ve had lots say my tutorials are very easy to follow so I’m glad they are helping! Yes I do have more tutorials coming. I’m finishing my last part to biracial painting and the rest of the Caucasian painting will follow. I typically do a second round of creasing with potentially a second round of mottling AFTER Skin layers are completed ; sometimes depending I’ll complete blushing first and then second rounds.

Do you not have to put the parts in over after steps? I see you just sitting them to the side(the head) while you moved to arms and legs… From the creasing video. Do you put in over after? After each coat of creasing? Like every time you do a process like creasing, veins,mottling,baby skin tone, Ect… do you place the parts in oven? After each coat? Or are you air drying coat by coat then putting in over after all coats
@MelissaFerrante2 жыл бұрын
For certain steps such as creasing, darker skin tones, and mottling I bake in oven after each coat but I bake the kit all together. You want the paint to be air dried before baking (this can help reduce extra shine). For steps like lighter skin tones, neutralizing, and blushing ill paint a couple coats before baking, sometimes with mottling ill do 2 mottling colors 1 coat of each and bake. Baking after each step helps build layers of realism, and helps prevents all the colors and layers from blending together.

Wait so a lot of people are saying don’t use your real oven cause chemicals can get in your oven but can’t I just clean my oven right after because I don’t have a nuwave or do I need to get one and always where did you get your paint supplies from thank u!
@MelissaFerrante2 жыл бұрын
Ive personally never had a problem, after sessions are done before food goes in it'll be cleaned but also working in a well ventilated area is also super important and I never breathe in while taking out of oven.

@@MelissaFerrante Oh ok , thank you so much I’m just going to keep watching your tutorial’s.

You should *never* use an oven you will ever eat out of again, you should also only use the nuwave etc outside of your house. Artists, and their family members have developed serious life altering health issues, cancers, lung disease, and even tragically died. This is both due to the paints, solvents, and the kit itself releasing hundreds of carcinogenic, endocrine dysrupting chemicals from the multiple plasticizers within the paints and kit, as well as all the other toxic chemicals. Cleaning your oven doesn't remove them, when you heat your oven to cook your food the chemicals get reactivated by the heat and settle into your food. Every time you open your oven door whether it has a kit in it or not that hot air transfers those chemicals to your kitchen and the rest of your house - where you breath them in constantly. Most kits specifically state not to heat them, for the above reasons and because it damages the integrity of the vinyl. Airdry is safest for the artist, the kit, the buyer = and the environment.

@@tuathadesidhe1530 Ok thank you so much, I’ve actually decided that I’m just going to use airdry paint instead but if I do decide to use Genesis heat set paint then I will be sure to buy a nuwave oven.
