Snapon tools here wouldn't last long these guys are brutal on tools. They dont have time to stand around in shock and awe gazing at a shiny box and tools that look like they rarely leave the drawers.

Think it was said that trucks are sold on quite young as where they come from the truck inspections are so strict that by 50-60k miles it's cheaper to buy new. So Pakistan get nearly new but way too light duty

El chasis de los camiones se cuartea en parte por el peso, pero tambien por que refuerzan demaciado las muelles y dejan de hacer bien su funcion de amartiguamiento y tranladan eso a el chasis, por eso que ya biene a si de fabrica.

Maybe I missed something. It looks like the outside skin is in addition to the original chassis rails. That would seem to be extra strong with the laminated layers. But I am not an engineer.

Calvin Jutila you missed a lot , mild steel is useless as chassis material especially under thre conditions the truck will be used under . Chassis's have to flex mild steel cracks and is low In tensile strength. A proper rolled skin made out of the correct material will work . I have re railed trucks with up to 3 skins for heavy duty work using the correct material. All this is a cheap way for very short term gain . With the standard running ger and loads it is a rolling death trap not even fit for farm work
