I got 4 2023 picks next year I got my own pick which will be 1.1 another in the top 5 projected and 2 late first should I trade for more picks?

Depends on what you’re selling for those picks. If they’re players who’s value will plummet next year I’d say yes, if they’re guys that still have long term I’d say no

I started my first year of dynasty this year and I didn’t draft well. Also traded adams for Pickens arob and a 3rd. Since then I’ve made my team better by trading for joe b and higgins but still lacking badly everywhere. I have 6 picks thru the first 3 rounds of 2023 and already looking to rebuild. Do I trade joe burrow or dak to get those firsts ? I’m fully committed to rebuilding and tanking just need guidance lol asking a lot here I know

If it’s a Superflex league I’d stick with those two. Solid QBs to build around for a long time. If it’s 1QB I’d be fine moving Dak. Move other aging assets if you have them and load up on that draft capital man

@@DynastyRewind thanks for the reply, it is a 2 qb league and I have Pickett and Mac daddy as well. Trying to get more firsts but I assume it’ll just take time. Again thanks for the reply I’ll definitely be watching more of y’all’s content hoping to learn more about managing a dynasty team. This ain’t nothing like madden🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think a huge part of knowing when to rebuild is being able to understand what you can control and what you can't control. You can control the points your team generates via roster and lineup management. You can't control how many points your opponent puts up against you. You can't play defense. It's possible to be 1-4 after five weeks while being fourth in your league in scoring. It's also possible to be 4-1 after five weeks while being eighth in scoring. The reality is that despite the records, the 4-1 team needs more attention and is the more likely rebuild candidate (all things being equal). Fantasy managers need to rebuild to their strengths. Whether one rebuilds via the draft, young players already in the NFL, or a combination of the two, take the path that leverages your fantasy knowledge best. Don't chase draft picks in your rebuild if rookie evaluations are not a strength for you because that path is not going to generate the results you are looking for. Of course, the caveat on the draft picks is you could leverage that into NFL talent.

Background is we did our startup draft last year and nobody in the league has played dynasty before. Here are the trades I made, some I’m proud of and some not so much, got a little trade happy -ekler for etienne+projected late 2023 1st -jakobi Meyers for 2022 2.08 -damien Harris/Tyler boyd for c.Kirk/2023 second -e Mitchell/2022 1.04/2022 2.09 for aj dillon/2022 1.11/2022 2.02 -gabe Davis/singletary/fields/tre sermon for mike Williams/t Lawrence/projected late 2023 1st Note: my core players are herbert, metcalf, and hockenson and it’s a 1QB league. I now have 3 firsts and 2 seconds next year and my 1.11/2.02/2.08 this year was j Williams/alec pierce/Brian Robinson
