Today in my country Indonesia at 6 AM date 7 September 2020 in this morning, I spoke in tounge for the first time in my life, until make my husband and my son wake up because I speak loud... I was 19 when I was baptized in jail. It wasn't till i was 35 that the Holy spirit hit me and i spoke in tongues and it changed my life. I wasnt in church or seeking God when it happened. In fact, I went from smoking cigs and doing drugs and fornicating with my boyfriend when he came and got me and now I'm living for God every single day proudly serving my Lord Jesus Christ! Not sure how or why my testimony is a little different but hey it's God and he can do what he wants 😌🙌. I thank God everyday for all the grace and mercy he blessed me with. HalleluYAH!

I don't know if i've received the Holy Spirit or if i've been deceived. I prayed for it as I don't have anyone in my life who believes in God, I also don't know of anyone in my city who could water baptise me. I truly feel i've had powerful moments, but everyday is a struggle. I suffer from maladaptive daydreaming so I feel like I always let Him down. I just don't know what to do

I do feel like a different person, I've repented of my sins, I don't drink anymore and swearing was like religious in my life but i've stopped doing that, i'm 22, I live at home with no social life outside, especially with covid restrictions its hard to go for anything or meet people who also have the Holy Spirit. I'm just so alone and only have God. My family thinks im crazy, ive tried praying that God will use me to help wake my family up but I pray in doubt so it doesn't work :(

Well spoken and explained. I repented and got baptised in the Holy Spirit (before being baptised in water), but as you mentioned in the video, I was one of the ones who had not been to a church yet. I got born again in a small group where I witnessed people speaking in tongues and where signs and wonders happened and I thought that was the normal. I also prayed to God before public repentance that I wanted to received this gift as an outward manifestation so I had no doubt I was saved. It was not until I started to go to church that I heard them say (wrongly) that it was not for all, and that was because they did not want to disappoint people who did not receive the gift of private tongues. It was a man centric view that caused more and more not to receive. We need to get back to saying it as it was written in the Bible.

Thank you for this video. I’ve walked with The Lord since I was about 8-10, I am now 42 and yet to be Baptized in water. It has been on my heart to be Baptized for a while now and hope to be very soon. I have rebelled and lived worldly too many times during that time and was not faithful to The Lord as I should have. I turned from Alcoholism and was delivered completely from that and living a lascivious lifestyle by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 2021 when I repented and gave my life over fully to The Lord. Coming to faith in Jesus is a miraculous thing! It took me a while to make sense of what had happened to me! First I found Him in the gospel of John, then my heart believed, hallelujah! Then I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but didn't understand about water baptism ..... it all happened while I was reading the bible on my own, no church, no pastor..... then the Spirit Himself convicted me that I needed to be baptised! It was like I couldn't hear anything else but 'you need to be baptised!' I was baptised in my river, and I knew it was right! One time I felt like I was about to start speaking in tongues, it was bubbling up from inside me, but I was really scared! I didn't know what it was! I resisted! Now I'm less afraid, if it happens again I won't resist! God bless all of you, in Jesus name.

KZbin Viewer no! I don't think I understood that I could ask for it! It was about 3 years ago now. While reading the gospel of John, I suddenly realised who Jesus was and what He did for us. The thought crossed my mind that I would happily die for Him, my heart believed, it was a tangible shift, I knew I belonged to Him. That was in the afternoon! Later that night, I was lying in bed and began to feel afraid, it was instinctive to me to call Jesus name. When I did, I felt an enormous power come into me from outside myself, my heart beat sped up, my temperature rose, it was intense but I lost all fear, and I just let it happen, I trusted. Eventually it subsided, and I felt like I had been washed with power! The same thing happened twice more on different occasions. After that I got a voracious appetite for reading the bible and a real love for it, I also found much deeper understanding of what I was reading. Then I began wanting to get baptised, but I wasn't entirely sure it was necessary! After a few weeks I realised it was necessary and that the Lord was showing me this! Was this receiving the Holy Spirit, or something else? I really don't know, everything was a surprise to me! God bless you!

Poor..single mother raised 4 of us ..at 10 a wonderful baptist outreach taught me the gospel...i confessed my sins and accepted Jesus as my savior...i memorised scripture like crazy so i won a contest and got my own Bible...i knew at that point i was no longer alone...my daddy God loved me..even if my earthly dad didnt...lots of hard years but i had a joy within me now...my mother fell in to very much sin and was losing us and by Gods grace a strong Christian family took my sister and i in...my new mother was a strong christian woman with much wisdom that gave me 5 years of scripture based counseling to help my soul heal.. i rededicated my life to God at 13 and immersion in the baptism of repentence...i did not know about tongues and did not have that happen to me....we were in a non denominational church that was not Charasmatic but there was one lady that came that would hide in the back and raise her hands sometime (that was all i knew... i was a little jealous..i wanted to be brave enough to lift my hands to God)...but it was not an open church for that...anyway...i walked a faithful path..not perfect certainly...but steadily growing..avoided drugs parties..fornication..ect..i truly just wanted to honor God and do what was right and receieve the blessings that come with that. ( dont assume i was some ugly duckling that had no temptation.. i was at the top of my class in grades and popularity...but did not ,by the grace of God, choose the path most everyone else was. I read the word everyday all through highschool and college(scholarship awarded for hard work)... i married a man after college that when he had been baptised,he said he spoke in tongues..and i would hear him in his personal prayer time do it...well i said to God..if it is real...and for everyone..then i want it...nothing... for years..nothing...then one time i decided to just open my mouth in faith and start and the prayer language just took off..i decided..well lord i dont feel anything censational but it certainly seems like a real thing so i will just believe in faith and do it occasionally when i am praying because the bible says it benefits me..i did in faith for 10 years and i truly saw the benefits of it...many testimonials of God empowering me when i was totally at my end from sufferings of some trial and prayer language stregthening me. Just saying...i am no wimp..i am not worldly, i have been married for 30 years to the same man..raised many children that all love God deeply and have all willingly stayed out of fornication....whatever stereotypes you have of people speaking in tongues..i hope to break that...i am not saying any of this to "toot my own horn"....to God be All glory for reaching down, giving me faith and lifting me up into his Kingdom..All HIM!.... if you knew me you would see a woman of great joy.....not perfect..still tempted as others...but Still VERY much in love with my Savior and God..i wake with him on my mind..i fall to sleep with HIM on my mind. All. that all being said..i have experienced another thing..one time when i had been doing just an oatmeal fast because there was much tension in my home and one of my teens were struggling with something i did not know what, but as a mama, could tell something was bad wrong!..so i fasted on oatmeal for a couple weeks.. anyway...one night the Spirit of God woke me up with an amazing dream..i got up to check on my elderly parent and suddenly the Sprit of God Came over , with HUGE power! It was so beautiful and so strong,and tongues flowed ( it was not like my little prayer language that i did in faith all those years..no! This was like heaven opened up and God put a giant funnel on my head and just started downloading! WOW! .not only was the tongues coming out of me in another language but after a few seconds, i could HEAR the interprtation as clear as if an interpreter were talking in my ear! It was amazing! GOD TOLD ME ALL KINDS OF THINGS AND THROUGH KNOWLEDGE FROM GOD that night... MY teen WAS DELIVERED THAT DAY FROM HIS TRIAL THAT HE HAD BEEN GOING THROUGH. PTL! More things happened to that opened many doors i had been praying about. It was so beautiful the way it all unfolded. He grew in leaps and bounds in the Lord after that. That same teen is now a man with a Godly marriage and discipling for potential leadership under a very godfearing baptist pastor! (Ps..he and his wife also married as virgins...Wow! Does that sound like a demon posessed mom's kids? Come now, lets reason together :)

After a vision I had, The Lord said to me "after you receive the Holy Spirit you need to step out WITH BOLDNESS" and He sent me to Acts 4:29-31 *the apostles had the Holy Spirit but still they ask for BOLDNESS" Since then, every person who really repent I prayed for, got baptized in the Holy Spirit. And healing happen also. My tip is: "Trust the Lord, Do the work with BOLDNESS, knowing that the Lord, Jesus Christ is with you". Read Marc 16 verse 20 The Lord work with them and CONFIRM the WORD with signs and wonders etc

I’ve been longing for this video! As I see it, this is what’s being a Christian: 1. Believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour and study the Word of God 2. Get baptized 3. Get filled with the Holy spirit 4. Do the acts of Christ and populate heaven 5. Keep the love of God in your hart and strive for holiness Too many, me included, get stuck at point 2, and without 3 will never reach point 4 and 5, which is tragic. And by time even may think that that life might be only for a chosen few. Please pray for me and continue the good work for the Lord. I wish you a lot of blessings. I would also like some advise on how to live an annointed life, as there might be a risk in looking at the Holy spirit as a ”one hit wonder”. I suppose ”living in spirit and truth” demands some more, as mentorship, praying and good examples?

But sometimes I think love is as much a decision to do His will, as an actual feeling. C. Brown God gives Holy Spirit as a gift, not as a reward for becoming holy. Holy Spirit will help us to be holy in Jesus Christ, He will help us to preach The Gospel of Salvation. Yet, we do need to repent in order to be clean before God, and it is not righteousness and holiness that will lead us to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

Act 10:44-46/Act 11:14-16/Act 15:7-11 Peter said we Jew believers shall be saved in the same manner as they Gentile believers, in Act 15:11 The church does not have to ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. There's no scripture to support that teaching. It's only man's opinion. Hello Joseph. Acts 2:4 "they...began to speak...the Spirit gave them utterance.". If the Spirit is filling you, just show your humble obedience by speaking the first syllable or two (whatever comes to mind), and the Holy Spirit will take it from there. I'm praying for you Brother.

I was wondering where "sheila" came from when you speak in tongues. It's just how you personally get it started. So glad you explained this. I feel I need to be baptized again because at the time I was not really repented and back to living in sin. My sister and I were both baptized at the same time and she mentioned to my brother later she felt she needed to be baptized again and he said it wasn't necessary. Few days ago and even yesterday i was searching on KZbin for how to receive the holy spirit and as i follow you for quite a while today i just saw this video🙏.. Yes sir you are exactly right there is the gift of tongues and there is those who can speak in tongues. This is just like there is the gift of Prophecy but we can all prophesy one by one even as it says in Corinthians. the difference between those who do have a gift and those who do not is they do not have to stir up the spirit to activate it. I will give you an example: I have the gift of tongues but my wife does not have the gift of tongues. She can only speak in tongues when she stirs up the spirit within her or the Holy Spirit comes upon her otherwise she cannot speak in tongues. Since I do have the gift of tongues however I can speak anytime I wish in tongues. This is the difference.

Thank you Torben! I agree with all of this. Since I began speaking in tongues at the recent Chicago event, I have only spoken in tongues in private but I see some of these videos where speaking in tongues seems to be the catalyst to healing I have prayed for maybe 20 people to be healed, but so far only my children and husband have really experienced relief from pain or sickness. Would you say that I need to be more bold in speaking in tongues when I’m praying for others? Also, the same question with praying for others to receive the Holy Spirit. Thank you for this ministry.

In Eph 1:13 (you) are the (Gentiles), the (Gentile believers) were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise which is = the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the promise of the Father Act 1:4,5 In Eph 4:5 the one baptism= is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. In Gal 3:14 we receive the promise of the Spirit by faith. In 1Cor 12:13 we are all baptized with the baptism of the Holy Spirit, cross-reference with Jhn 7:37-39 we all drink into one Spirit *some say that in Jhn 20:22 the disciples received the Holy Spirit. I repented and was baptized in 2010, I received tongues before getting baptized, a few days before. It was so amazing! I have a question though. Through the last 10 years I have backslid and life had taken a toll. Last year I found my way back to Christ, by the grace and mercy of Jesus. I am wondering do I need get baptized again and receive that Holy Spirit again! I know I need to repent. But once you have the Holy Spirit inside of you.....does it leave?

Baptism with the Holy Spirit is only one time. Yes he can leave but then you can not get him back. You don’t need baptism again. But the Fear of God and make sure you don’t fall away this time.

@@tommypaul22 please divide the word rightly, the epistles explains WHAT happened when we received the HS, in acts you read HOW the ephesians received the Spirit: ‘And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to EPHESUS. And finding some disciples And when Paul had laid HANDS on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with TONGUES and prophesied.’ ‭‭Acts‬ ‭19:1, 6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ What did this “when you believed” in eph 1:13 look like? When they believed they where baptized and received the HS by laying on of hands and spoke in tongues. Dont seperate scripture, take it together.

I was baptized at birth and I repented in 2018, but I want a baptism of immersion and the Holy Spirit so badly! I have tried over the past year to contact different people on the TRL map that are in or around the Toledo area, but I've never received a response. There's gotta be someone in Toledo that has the Spirit!

Hello Holly, I'm sure there ARE Spirit-filled believers in the Toledo area. Chances are, 99.99% of them are bottled up in the churches, and many may not realize that they have the authority to baptize you. Go to a church or even a pastor if that's what you have to do. Or just talk a believing friend into baptizing you in a pool or bathtub. Maybe you could show them a tlr video to show them what you have in mind. Then they could help you pray for the Holy Spirit. In my case, I was all by myself (having previously repented and been baptized) when I "prayed through" in my own home and was gloriously filled with the Spirit. Be encouraged!! God has a way for you to get this done!

Okey so I hope someone will can help me. I'm 15 and I live in a little country in the south America (i speak french so sorry for my mistakes). There is nobody who know the last reformation, my whole family is catholic (some are protestant and some are jehova's witness). I have been baptism as a baby in a catholic church but I have never received the holy spirit and I don't know anybody who got the holy spirit. Somebody has ever speak in tongue on me to help me because I was depressed but nothing happend... but at this moment I just felt like something will happen later (maybe it was demonic tongue, i don't really know). It's not easy for me to serve God because my parents are catholic and for them i don't have to seek God more because i'm already baptised and confirmed so it's ok. But i KNOW it's not ok. I have tried to pray to receive the holy spirit on my own but nothing happened. I believe that have to wait to receive it but i don't want to wait anymore. I want to serve God NOW and be led by his holy spirit! I'm really lost... can some one help me ? Have a blessed day 🙏🏼❤️

Amen! receiving the Holy Spirit is a separate experience. The initial gift of tongues is part of the salvation process to be born again of water and Spirit. You can’t have the gift of tongues and interpretation of tongues unless you have the Holy Spirit initially bc they are gifts of the Spirit. You have to have the Spirit first to have the gifts of it. Amen!!
