Thank you Pastor Sunday for highlighting this but,here in Kenya there are some Pastors from pentcostal Churches who address women that wearing of trousers is not spiritually healthy for church, sleeveless tops for dresses etc,this spiritual abuse it's in many Churches in Kenya even when it comes to deliverance services,I don't personally go to the alter for laying of hands,I believe God power can touch me even when sitted at the centre of the church simply because some of this abuse sometimes are right in the pulpit,n I do agree some Pastor don't intend to hurt but some do intend to hurt,this thing is actually in most African Pentcostal Chrches if not all

Please use the scriptures to substantiate the points so that the pastors and churches will know you do not intend to destroy their images but rather demand for the real change through church to the world . You an African origin, you have access to those pastors you are trying to correct their errors online, have you ever approached them individually to ask questions about those things you call abuse or organise minister's conference and invite them? If have not done it, this online correction cannot effectively fulfill your intention, because you are doing it under assumption, but when you approach them and know their reasons for the so called abuse, then you will have strong point. You are a child of God, therefore in every step you take, check how the one you represent did it in the bible, Jesus Christ never corrected the errors of His disciples publicly, you don't have to mention names of denominations to correct them publicly, because you may be hurting them and even yourself unknowingly. Remember if your brother is taken in a fault, you who spiritual, restore such one in spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also will be tempted. He who thinks he stands, take heed lest he falls. We have only one universal church. Stop mentioning names of denominations and their pastors. If God gave you this correction work, do it in a more mature way, because you are causing confusion in the heart of some people who are considering to decide for Christ, when every denomination in Nigeria and Africa as a whole is under abuse, they may decide to remain in their sins. It still beats me, one of Deeper life's W.F.Kumuyi's sons just got "born again" only in 2019. How could a child of someone screaming I must have salvation, sanctification, Holy Ghost, total submission to DLBC and turn against families. He couldn't have his own child believe his God? That is why the church is stagnated. The people you have there are 70, 80s and early 90s members and their children. Most of those children once they leave don't go back.

I remember one church here in Kenya I attended 2 yrs ago, it's like dy hv a spiritual abuse working in d church where even one time a real fight broke in d church involving a few church leaders,d fight was all about 1 sister who was between 2 brothers,on a different occasion a very disabled man was brought by his wife for healing n since dy had travelled previous night to secure a front seat in d church,when deliverance service started dt morning a disabled man was spotted sitting alone on d front raw by senior Pastor when he was asked who he travelled with,he responded his wife,when wife was called at d front she emerged seated at d back of d church,when pastor asked why not seat next to her disabled husband she responded it's an usher who moved her out of front seat n even took her to seat at d back,d Usher was called at d front n she was requested to leave d church building dt very minute,what Pastor Sunday is saying is true,how come she managed to do all dt in a church full of other so many ushers n Junior pastors without any of them correcting her?It's because some church leaders hv been busy abusing their powers in miracle sign n wonders churches

You have shared some truth. Many of the intentioned good have really been misapplied. But as always DSA seems to want to mock others with elements of truth so as to undermine them or the ministry they carry out. You never seem to hear any commendation of the living pastors in Nigeria. It would be an abuse if some people in or outside are against any practice in the Church they attend even if the said Church is doing so because they hold that it is doctrinal or based on etiquette. Some choral groups wear uniforms but will it be construed as an abuse if some will join but not want to wear such uniforms. This may be over simplistic, but think of the military, health workers, etc.

This is the most shallow and hollow message I have ever listened to. Sunday Adelaja has obviously lost focus on his initial calling if he was ever called at all. He has become an antagonist of the Church. Listening to him it is evident that the spirit of the anti Christ is working in him and through him. His orchestration of the word "abuse" is grossly misleading. There is nothing like abuse in the church. The Nigerian Constitution enshrines the right to freedom of religion. If you don't believe in the doctrines of the Bible and the practices of a particular church, you are free to leave the church and go elsewhere, you are not under any compulsion. Like Sunday Adelaja, you are free to reñounce the faith and quit. It is a matter of choice. At the end God will judge all of us. Adelaja should focus on something else if he has run out of steam. He started to fall when the disclosures of large scale adultery were unearthed in his mega church in Ukraine. Rather than repent he turned into a public commentator and an antagonist of the church. Do you know how many potential Christian families that Deeper Life has aborted through its extra-biblical injunctions regarding male-female relationships? You know how many women will die as spinsters and how many of them have gone into sin and away from Christ because of needless burdens placed on them by Deeper Life? Do you know how many God-fearing Christians will not fulfill their life missions because of their early association with Deeper Life? Only heaven knows. If you attended Deeper Life in those days, pastor Kumuyi always criticized all other churches and their pastors. He almost never saw any other church that was good enough. How is that not abuse? So we are just to sweep all these under the rug, and pretend the abuse didn't happen? Not at all. And Deeper Life is not the only culprit here. Many other churches also did the same thing--abusing God's people in the name of God. How are these churches any different from Roman Catholic priests which abuse children placed in their care?
