@@fb1970.. When you pray in tongues, you are praying the perfect will of God. You are not relying on your understanding, your own desires do not turn your prayers into soulish prayers. You don’t pray outside the boundaries of what lines up with the Word of God. It keeps purity of heart and also the enemy cannot understand spirit words but he can understand words spoken in your own language and he abort some prayers or try to hinder or delay answers.

This is so true. It's common for people to call it speaking in tongues. There's speaking in tongues or in another language that one doesn't currently know, and there's a praying in the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues is for others and will be with someone who can translate that language. Praying in the spirit, noone understanding but it's the Holy Spirit inside you praying. If you are blessed with this, when you pray, God will share with you, and you will get words or insight into God's will and prayers. It's like being able to get a glimpse of the Father's heart. Sometimes it just breaks you.

Amen!! Was in a church 80s. Full godpel The man in the chior/youth teacher that was a professed warlock. Went to the Pastor with witness and he said i know but cant do nothing because his brother (cop) gave vast amount of $$$. Needless to say i ran from that church. Within 6m the Pastor that had been a pastor there 20+yrs. Moved to Mid West. Another church, knew this husband an wife were evil. Again went to them with others. They kept them working in office and tape shipping. Yes, ran from that church. People please be csreful.

I prayed for delivery from a demon that was tempting me in a very powerful way for an excessive time. I do not think I was possessed. I tried to pray in authority and it didn't work. I slowed and softened my prayer and felt like my prayer was being gently guided and went from being a hard going prayer to an easy but deep prayer. Part of the prayer included, "in my weakness your strength is made perfect". Very shortly after or during; a strong voice entered my mind saying, "LET IT BE DONE". As soon as the words were said that demon was gone. No hassle, no struggle, no complaint.........gone! Moments later a softer voice came into my mind saying this, "spoken in the spirit". Didn't know what that meant. Got out of bed an googled it. Thought it was tongues related. Went to scripture; I think it means that the Holy Spirit knew what I was trying to pray and helped me pray it correctly. If any of you have knowledge about these things I'd be happy to hear. This was a one time event; but one I'll never forget.

@@ntombikayisetemba2277The biggest problem I see is people praying for the Will of self convincing themselves that it’s the Will of G/d; it requires a lot of studying and intimacy with the L/rd along with discernment of the Spirit to align our desire with His desire and pray for only the Will of G/d and the strength to carry His Will out: “Whoever turns a deaf ear away from the law, even their prayers are detestable” - Proverbs 28:9

If she has a good heart and means well, even if she is unknowingly “soulish” , you can counter that by speaking against any negative that comes via that prayer and say lord I receive only the good from her prayers. Genuine concern on this topic probably shows that it’s not an issue. A dominating parent likely either doesn’t care or are oblivious to their lack of love. The children being dry and pretty miserable is a good indicator of not being loved properly, and just completely restricted.

Start with forgiveness. If you are craving power, it could be due to feeling powerless or helpless at some point, like under a controlling parent or grandparent. A lot of that “need to control others” can arise because of past hurts and traumas, so if you haven’t forgiven the people involved (including yourself), you can have a door open for the devil to exploit. In trying to “protect” yourself, you may try to control other people and your surroundings to avoid getting hurt. So, ask God to reveal to you if you are harboring unforgiveness toward anyone and to help you to forgive them. If forgiveness seems hard to do in the natural, say out loud, “By faith I choose to forgive that person.” (I’ve had to do this myself.) Next, start thanking God for what He has given you. An attitude of gratitude allows God to move in your life. Finally, remind yourself how much Jesus loves you. If you are dealing with wounds on a soul level, you may be operating under self-condemnation and feelings of powerlessness as a side effect, but focusing on how Jesus thought YOU were worth dying for and that He wants to take care of you can help you get emotional healing. There may be other things you can do based on your individual circumstances, but hopefully these can help you. Remember also that healing can be a process. You don’t plant a seed and instantly get a huge tree. You have to let it grow, so keep walking with God and asking for His help. :)

Align your prayer with God's heart rather than your own and go for it. Are what you mentioned His will? If so, pray without ceasing. Just be mindful to yield to the eternal purpose of God which transcends issues as we see them. He gives and takes away. We praise Him in both, knowing His ultimate purpose is good and He can be trusted in life and death or anything other thing that can be named. When He knows we trust Him no matter how He answers, it changes things. May Jesus reveal Himself to you more and more as you spend time with Him in prayer.

If it’s in Gods Word, you never have to worry about praying things like that that since it is Gods will as shown by Scripture 🩵 (ie praying for anyone to be saved, that is always Gods will) He’s talking about soulish prayers (ie “Lord, make the pastor do XYZ” “make that person fall in love with me”) etc. that push your will. If the Lord reveals His will for something & you pray for it in agreement with Him, that is not soulish. He’s talking presumptive prayers that benefit your personal agenda. For instance, someone once asked me to pray that someone wouldn’t marry this certain person because they were in love with them… that’s not the Lord. That’s a soulish prayer, essentially forcing someone to do what you want. Or if we start praying for God to punish someone that has offended us or has done us wrong. God might not be dealing with that person & it may just be us needing to grow out of offense. ❤

How You Can Have Eternal Life ! Realize you are a sinner being sorry. Why base teaching on experience rather then solely on God's Word. Isn't there danger in elevating "my experience" to the Word and then teaching authoritatively on that experience especially when it does not align with the clear teaching of the Holy Scriptures?

I always carry a crucifix a bulb of garlic and a raw onion in my hand bag. I do stink - but it keeps away evil spirits and witch’s.

I used to do things like that that before being freed by Jesus. I no longer have a spirit of fear because I know who I am in Christ. I know that Jesus’ blood speaks for me, protects me... Jesus is your only solution. Plus, the bible warns about having false gods. Seek Jesus 🙏🏾

It was something levelled at me from a young age because of my physical features and nose , and lots of women said that I was a witch. And men . Teasing you're a witch . You're a witch . People were scared as they really thought I was . Early years. From early age .. They were scared that I was a witch and kept saying that of me BUT if these people as adults doing that were "scared" about it, imagine me as a child having it pinned on me repeatedly, imagine how scared I was ? ? Idiot rude adults say anything. Have an interest in science and maths and good at those topics . And geography/geology sciences . Gardening, cooking and herbs and bush remedies . And I am interested in those topics, but you can drop the "witch" finger pointing . Witches practice magic . I cannot stand magicians and clowns; as I like sciences . Didn't appreciate neurotic adults pinning that on me . So don't pin it on me as a slander today when I am adult to defend myself against those kinds of degrading projections . Looking back, I actually believe the idiots behind that , were the ones who were witches . It made me scared of my own shadow .

The definition of the word translated witchcraft in the Bible is basically manipulation, intimidation and control/domination, which are all mistreatment of others and in worst cases very evil and abusive.

GOD is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. How do we worship GOD? In words, isn’t it? It is through our words that we can worship GOD. Jesus is the Word or Words of GOD. His Words (that he speaks) are spirit who is worshiping GOD. His Words worship the only True GOD where he came from or who is his Source. The Words of Jesus did not glorify the flesh that he was temporarily dwelling. He said that his flesh profits nothing. The flesh, who is the beast, has also words. These are words that will glorify the flesh. The source is the flesh (voice of the serpent sitting like GOD in all human bodies) who speaks lies that will lead souls to eternal death. These are the words which will twist the TRUTH. These are the testimonies of those who are marked in their right hand (work), who are also the workers of lawlessness in Matthew 7:23. Their words will glorify the temporary flesh of Jesus. Two kingdoms that are contrary to each other, the Kingdom of the Spirit and the kingdom of the flesh. The Kingdom of the Spirit is the Kingdom of the Words of GOD which is the One Body (spiritual) of Jesus while the kingdom of the flesh is the one fleshly body of the harlot or Babylon. Which kingdom do you belong? It will be seen thru the kind of words that you speak. Are your words glorifying the Spirit or are your words glorifying the flesh? Your words depend on what seal or mark you received. The seal of the Spirit will cause you to glorify the Spirit while the mark of the beast will cause you to glorify the flesh. The sealing of the Spirit is done. The mark of the beast is unremovable. The time is at hand. Maranatha! You forget Satan is true to God. We all know that only humans have freewill, and only humans can sin. Satan has only God's will and could never rebel. Satan was created to tempt on God's behalf. Surely if he rebelled (and you know he can not) he would stop his work for God, temptation. He has not stopped Christians all acknowledge that he continues. Think! thats all it takes to throw off false preachers. Ask your preacher who God sacrificed Jesus to. If he can't tell you the name of the God that gave you eternal life caste him out.
