I love this ZOOM video, very helpful! How to record high quality audio locally. Easy to follow. I would only emphasize that logging into your zoom account via the web is not what you are doing here. When you say you are opening the Zoom Client, that is the actual Zoom application on your computer. Thanks again!

@@usmanedwards839 voice memo can detect zoom if your speaker is on. But zoom is a separate app. So as far as I know, it cannot detect voice memo.

Any headset will provide better audio than the built in mic, unless you are using a mac book. They have amazing mics! A lav mic or external mix would the be the next step up.

Best explanation on the web. Most are too long or short, the too long ones take an age to get to the details. I will use audio for my radio show - not professional - and also my amateur videos for You Tube will use the audio and video - teaching guitar and other instruments. Having the recordings to where i want them is useful for loading into my other software to add titles, subtitles, links, descriptions and all those things we expect on You Tube. Thanks your video was concise and easy to follow.

Agreed, But best to have each party record their own and submit it to you via file sharing. This way your computer does have to record X amount load (Depending on the processor) Everyone will have a clean version where as if you are recording me and internet is buffering,... you wont have to worry about recording my blurry buffer film and or choppy audio.

Hi there. I can't suss out how to do recordings in a way where the host remains in a thumbnail in the top right corner and never becomes an active speaker filling out the whole screen? I'm trying to record a series of interviews and I want to be visible but only as a thumbnail. During the meeting the layout is as it should be but in the actual recording I become full screen. What a helpful presentation! Covid has certainly changed the way we look at tutoring! I work with young students using Zoom. I would love to record our sessions and then make them available privately and send them to individual students. Help?

Thank you! In regards to sharing the recording afterwards, you could use the local recording option and share the files on you school LMs, or via a cloud storage solutions such as OneDrive or GoogleDrive depending on what your school uses. If you use the Cloud recordings option, these can be shared with individuals and can even be given a special password to protect the video. You can disable downloads of the recording and add a number of other settings.

I have tried all day to figure out how to convert my video so to view it. I record fine, but when it come time to play it back, it tells me it is not converted. Although I did see a video on how to convert it, it was way over my head and the files where not where the speaker said. Your video indicated it converts automatically, why won't mine convert? Is this not available on the free portion of Zoom? It has the recording bar no the screen. Is it me or do I need to pay to record? Also, where do you look when sharing the screen with a powerpoint? Do I look directly in the camera? Everytime I try to check, I'm looking down. This is why I wanted to record it so I can see my eye contact and practice. Thank you. Your webinar was awesome!!
