We really need a faster eject and import process, that is time consuming repeated many times

Ex-fat is a good format but it isn't a100% stable format for Apple, especially for Final Cut Pro X. I have used it years ago but it caused some problems. That being said, I look forward to trying this out.

Does this only record video to the ssd? Like is your camera turned on but not recording (similar to OBS?). Just wondering if this would get around a recording time limit on the camera

You will have the separate audio and video files available to you as well as the main program feed!

How can I get the ISO video files to have the HDMI audio instead of the recording/live mix audio? Although I am using two of the same camera models, one has a slight audio delay whereas the other syncs up perfectly. By using the audio from the cameras themselves this issue would be solved and I could create a perfect multicam clip in Resolve.

@ No. There is no explanation on the topic in the video. That‘s why I‘m asking

@@christophhehemann perhaps I’m mistaken, but he shows how to also get ISO files from the multiple audio inputs. Is that not exactly what you want?
@christophhehemann5 күн бұрын
@@mKruter No, that's not it. The video files also have an audio track. Currently, the audio track for video files comes from the external microphone connected to the device. What I would like, though, is for the audio from the HDMI source to be used instead, e.g. the sound from the camera's built-in microphone. This ensures that the audio and video in the video file are in sync. Currently, however, I am using two exactly identical cameras and connected them with two exactly identical HDMI cables. Unfortunately, the audio is not in sync with the video in one of the video files, while it is perfectly matched in the other camera. But if you had the option to use the HDMI audio signal instead, the video files would be perfect for using in a multicam project to synchronize the audio (which was also recorded separately).

@@christophhehemann What is the point of the external microphone if you want to use audio from the built in mic?
