When it comes to the lag, I can feel your pain. It happens to me as well and I’m way overdue for a new computer. I really wanted to get into making BeamNG cinematic film back then but when the lag worsened, I just stopped. I’ve asked people what could be causing this issue and they said it’s my RAM, but I think all of the hardware in my PC.

Well it can be a combined issue of cpu and gpu or just one of them like in my case its my cpu, if you have 16gb of ddr3 or ddr4 ram you should be fine (16 for ddr3 is not the best but it works) I run 16gb ddr3 but that's just because I have a severely out of date cpu but it works for me, I would say is look into system specs and see what need to be upgraded either or go for an easy route of pre built what ever you decide and does not break the bank I hope you can get into making cinematics one day I would love to see some.

@@Blueyeddevil1qcow2 I’m considering getting a prebuilt from NZXT once I get the funds to do so, but it’s currently not a priority for me right now. Thanks for the advice! Also it’s most likely my CPU and GPU, 1060 and i5-7400. Both are pretty outdated but can still run games that aren’t as demanding. It can run BeamNG normally but I can’t go too crazy without getting fps stutters every picosecond.

Nice tutorial I always watch it whenever I want to make a clip, it's pretty difficult this system it's completely new to me, I can't get the connection between markers like camera is moving slow when I set a marker then faster when I set the another marker, but anyway , I'll watch it little by little and I hope I'll be able to learn it

Try to extend the time you take to place markers if it's going a little too fast for your liking try waiting a couple seconds longer to place the marker on the timeline, that should slow it down. along with extending the camera placements so there not as close will most likely help also.

How do you make it so that after a given amount of time the camera will instantly go to the next marker instead of becoming like a drone shot?

I believe there is an option somewhere within the menu to make it so it won't act like a drone shot "I may be wrong so please do your own research and experiment as I have not done any cinematics recently and can't remember" sorry if i was of little help, I hope you figure it out :)

Can you make a tutorial about a certain point being replayed but at a different camera angle? For example when the moon hawk crashes into the truck, replay that except in a different camera angle if you know what I mean.

If I do believe you can just exit the world and it will ask if you want to save the changes you have made within the level and press yes it should save the camera path but I have not tested it so do be careful.

Last time I used Beam.ng cinematic there was an FOV slider in the tab where you place the markers and select replays I can't remember the button combo If I were you you can check key binds in settings to see if you can find the button

Sadly there is no way to either record or export your cinematic in game and you'll have to record using a program like OBS "Open Broadcast Software" to record your cinematic

does this also work in script AI? i wanna try this,ive used the replay app,and ive used script AI but theres things it has i dont understand of how it works and theres things im seeing in other videos that i cant get the same to work in mine,but im having trouble just playing the game cuz i keep getting error messages mainly GPU not responding,and no clue how to keep enough space so the game works and dont know much how to set up graphics cards to right settings to play it,and even when the game works i cant fix the main big issues i have regardless of device used to fix steering so it doesnt look like im a drunk driver and not all over the road even at low/city speeds

For the script AI part I have no idea if it would work I myself have never tested it, For your GPU I would copy the error code and look it up to find a fix for that the one thing I could think of is you are maxing your GPUs VRam out and that's why its crashing so all I can say is look the error code up, make graphic setting all on low if not already and hope all works out.

hey i know this videos old but how would i maybe do a multi car chase

When making the chase scene just have the camera at various spots around the chase, so doing drive by camera shots where the camera is stationary and your camera follows the cars as they drive one by one and you can show shots from the front of the car where the cars behind are chasing and same thing for chase cars where the camera is behind them looking forward also doing a dash cam thing might look nice but it does depend on the footage you have captured. Also sorry for the late reply like 4 months late but I just noticed this I might make an updated version for 2023 and I'll think upon adding this question into the video.

Idk if you had seen but the way to get the cinematic recorded or exported you need a screen recorder like OBS or what ever you may use does not matter then just record your game Don't forget to hide your GUI by pressing either Alt+U or Shift+U and you should be good.
