Just description is okay. We do not attach certificates. If you are selected for a random audit, then they may request evidence such as certificates.

Good morning. I became a member on 29th January 2022. My CPD page displays an information that for new member CPD declaration is mandatory from 2023. Does that mean I should start recording 2023 and declare on 1st January 2024? Thanks

Yes that's correct. You should begin recording your CPD from 1 January after you became a member. So your declaration will be Jan 2024.

U have to record unverifiable too. You can record up to 19 units of unverifiable CPD and 21 units of verifiable CPD.

To record the unverifiable unit go to > add a new record > Enter description of the cours > Enter the course provider > Enter the reason you took the course > Enter the date of the course > Enter the number of units you are claiming > How many of these units can you verify with supporting evidence? You are going to put 0.

Hi! Thank you so much for your video! I become member in September 2021. From your video, i do not need to declare on 1 Jan 2022 and only declare on 1 Jan 2023 while recording for 2022 in the CPD tool. However I missunderstood before watching your video and have submitted declaration of not meeting CPD for 2022. I only did that recently because I was confused. I have emailed ACCA just now regarding the matter but ACCA will reply within 5 bussiness day and 1 January 2023 coming very soon. I will be declaring on 1 jan 2023 and record for 2022 but will my cpd points go back into the 2021 as I read if got shortfall, they will take the new one flow into last year. Is there anyone to correct your declaration? Please help me, thank you!

Thanks for your comment. Since your membership started in September 2021 you won't be able to carry forward any points into 2022. Your CPD points will start accumulating in 2022. If you have excess points in 2022 then you carry forward to 2023. Hope this helps.
