FYI: This sort of replacement stringing method to create a 12 string sound is called the "Nashville tuning" and has been a staple for recording there for many years.

hi What microphone did you use for the guitar room? -what is the distance between the microphone and the guitar amp in the sgt peppers era? -What is the distance of the two microphones with respect to the bass amplifier in the Sargent era? thanks Greetings from Argentina excellent channel
@davidnovotnymusic5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Sereno. For the guitar room I used cheap Apex 415 because I didn't have any other good condenser mic. It's not important. Distance between two bass mics in my case was circa 2 meters.
@el_sereno5 жыл бұрын
@@davidnovotnymusic and then what do you use to mix the guitars and basses? eqs compressors etc
@davidnovotnymusic5 жыл бұрын
@@el_sereno bass - RS124 compressor or CLA-76 is great as well. Fairchild for guitars. EQ plugins are the same for every instrument. The options in sixties were not big so it was used 2 comp/limit, 2 EQs and mixing desk. I also put J47 tape plugin on my mixbuss. Watch my full documentary. In the end is chapter about mix and mastering

what kind of mic did you use for vocals at 11:24?
@davidnovotnymusic5 жыл бұрын
It is APEX415 but its a fake vocal mic. This was only for more room. The vocals was recorded later through the same mic as acoustic guitar. Neumann CMV563

Hi how are you David what scale are you often using to sound like the Beatles I want to know since I also want to make some Beatle style songs
@davidnovotnymusic3 жыл бұрын
It doesn´t matter what scale. The chord progression is important and also how you hold the chords. Example: You can play E7 in a classic way but you can play C7 on the 7th fret. It is E7 as well and it sounds more like Beatles. Watch some tutorials how to play guitar like John or George. It should help.

Zase super video ! Co kdyby si udělal cover písne od Beatles,proste by jsi hrál na gitare a spíval ich píseň a to dal youtube,takové videa mnějí věčšinou štestí a hodne zhlédnuti,mohl by jsi to udelat zo všechnymi gitarami !
@davidnovotnymusic6 жыл бұрын
@bogy27246 жыл бұрын
Na to sa moc teším,do ničoho ťa nenútim ale niekedy jedno video kde by si hral na gitare a spieval za všetkých by ti mohlo zaniesť väčšiu sledovanosť,a bolo by to prepracované. Ale samozrejme to je tvoje volba :)
