Works fine, but I can't hear my guitar WHILE I'm recording. I can only hear it when I play the recording AFTER I finished recording, but not WHILE I'm recording. This video is still helpful 👍

Try 6 way audio splitter

You could do the same as in the video but use a splitter that works the other way around. So a female side that takes both mic/headphone audio which then splits into two male sides, one for mic and one for audio. Connect the mic to the phone and the audio to speakers or headphones. The female side should take input from your instrument. That should work.
