My man 😎 256 would be higher. We’d recommend starting w/ 128 then adjust if you start having popping/clicking issues.

I’m using ProTools for the first time and my struggle is that my volume is coming is low from my Scarlett Gen 4 interface. I have a Yamaha Clavinova CVP 805 going mono from the headphone jack to the Scarlett. When I set it up on Logic my levels are great but I’m trying to switch my production to ProTools and I’m stuck with this dilemma. The Scarlett has the latest update and ProTools has the latest updates. My Scarlett is getting great signal from my Clavinova. My Scarlett is selected as the play engine for ProTools. I created a Mono audio track in ProTools and selected the right inputs and outputs. I’m stuck, I don’t know my volume is coming in low. This is my struggle currently.

@MyAudioAcademy2 жыл бұрын
Everyone has to start there! I remember not even knowing what questions to ask because I was so confused at first 😅 When you set up your sessions like Jordan does in the video, all of your effects (plugins) will be happening on your Aux/Bus tracks. For all of your vocals. In the beginning, I wouldn’t worry about adjusting effects on different parts of the song, unless you really want those sections to sound/feel a lot different. Does this help?

Respectfully disagree about multiple reverbs. The default state of mind should be to use the SAME reverb (A good one) and place different parts deeper or more shallow within the space. This will help keep the entire track more cohesive and less plastic feeling. ..................THEN. With that methodology in place ........ Break that rule to taste, but be conscious of when you are breaking the rule, and do it for a good reason, not just as your default methodology.
