I want to have my dog as my background, but he just won't stay still 😭 Edit: my dog died almost a week ago. I didnt get the chance to film with him cause he was sick and I was waiting for him to get better.

Hi Cam, thanks for the videos. I've learnt lots, especially from the Windshield wiper method vid! Could you please put them in a playlist so that I can learn such techniques in an ordered manner? Thanks again! PS: Could you also put up a small vid on how to use the stickers for the tines and what they mean?

You're welcome, glad you found them helpful! I believe I do have a tutorials playlist, but not specifically an ordered one. I'll have to look into that. I'll definitely consider making a tutorial on the stickers also.

Can you use an acoustic guitar pickup installed in the kalimba for amping and recording?

How do you adjust the timings of the audio and video if it was separately recorded? Btw, cute dog!! 🥰

Hey, sorry for replying so late - I only just saw this comment now. The best way to do this is to use a video editor (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia Studio, even iMovie) to put the audio over the video recording of the Kalimba. Hope this helped, let me know if you have any other questions! P.S my dog says thanks :)

This looks really good. The only problem I have is that when I transfer the audio from my external microphone (Blue Yeti) to my phone, there is a so much reverb and it sounds terrible. Know any way how to fix this or does my phone just have horrible speakers? I never hear any reverb on other kalimba video's on youtube.

Kalimba is not loud as guitar so how much loud it is??? Can you please make s video on that
@AndrewHelbig4 жыл бұрын
What I'm having trouble with is keeping the kalimba in focus while I'm using my camera on a tripod because I keep moving around in the video. I don't want too wide of an angle, because I like the close up look, but then when I record video, I end up moving out of focus or moving out of frame.
@zeenathriffky27014 жыл бұрын
You could record it with a wide angle and then crop it after but idk

Good video. But the sound is way too quiet. I can barely hear you, even with my volume turned all the way up.

I can't hear the sound editor and video editor you used. your voice is too low. Please send links or details. Thank you.
