Man, you are my HERO. I am nearly 81 years old, still sing and play guitar. (Blessed beyond words). I was having a TERRIBLE time getting OBS to record separate tracks for my guitar and vocal mic. so I can edit the audio using Audacity. I am using a Snowball USB mic and a USB converter cable for my HUSS AND DALTON guitar with a LR Baggs Lyric internal mic. Your tutorial did the trick. I am SO grateful. After trying for days, I finally found your video, and within an hour or so I was out of the woods.

Having a really bad echo prob using 3 mics so I’m hoping that separating them into diff track will help me eliminate some of those issues.

I'm recording a two person podcast and I keep getting the same echo or bleed I heard on your recording at 4:50. I have tried using the OSB noise gate, but it's still allows bleed and echo at times. Any ideas how to get rid of this echo altogether? Thanks so much for your help!

Hello, I have a question. My wife and I have been trying to record using two Blue Yeti microphones on OBS. When both mics are on (not on mute), the sound quality for both of us has an echo and doesn't sound good. But, when one mic is muted while the other is talking, the sound quality is great. I've noticed when both mics are on and one person is talking, both mics are picking up the sound which creates that echo. Is there a way to have both of us using our separate mics without the other mic picking up the other persons voice? Thank you

What I would try first is to go into OBS and set a filter on both mics. You will want to use a noise gate and try to play around with it until you get it setup so that the audio doesn't bleed into both mics. It can be complicating to get setup right, but once you get it set up you should be fine. Another thing I can recommend is to try to get a program such as nvidia broadcast or another program that will remove background noise. This is basically the same thing as a noise gate filter, but it can be a little easier to get set up. Hope you can get it figured out!
