The free version basically only let's you install 100 MB of data at a time, which is practically exhausting, most likely everyone here wants to restore files taking up to 1 GB of storage or more. This means your gonna have to pay for the license plan which is US $59.95 and up. It's a good app but by no means is it free!

Formatting (quick format not full format) does not Compress your data and make it hidden, it deletes the file system structure that indexes the data. The existing data is not compressed or hidden it is just not indexed.

I don't know if things have changed since you posted this vid, but despite being touted as the 'free' version, there is no recovery done until one hundred dollars, or more, have changed hands. Plus, you can't choose the 'deep' file option, so--in my case, anyway--no files were found.

I reinstalled High Sierra on my MacBook Pro bec I was having trouble booting up. After I reinstalled it I got the set up screen. Does this mean I accidentally erased my hard drive? I bought a WD External HDD 3 years ago and I stored all of my personal memories and data on it. IDK how the HDD got corrupt. A month ago when I plugged my HDD into my PC, it connected and showed normal on 'This PC' but the read speed was too low. Like if I try to open a photo it takes 5 to 10 minutes approx to open. And when I try to transfer some files to another drive it showed a speed of around 700kbps, not more than this. But the write speed was normal. So I end up unable to access my HDD. I tried to access my HDD by plugging in many other PCs, but it shows corrupted on some PC or showing the same problem as my PC is showing. I have nearly 100k photos and 10k+ videos. I am thinking to format my HDD and recover the data by Wondershare Recoverit paid one. Can I get my data 100% back?
