Alluvial soil gold recovery? In my adventure that was June 18 2023 Sunday with my DIY metal detector, I went to a place where I saw red soil, because in my research it was high content of iron, so I ask permission the owner of the land to enter their area I only gives 3 dollar for the snacks, he allowed me but never to take picture or video on that area. Taking a sample and also used metal detector, He allowed me also, so with every sound of my metal detector i am digging and collect the soil even if I don't see that there is gold.

Nice treatment of the thick slimes by slow dilution in the pan. Most miners would have just panned off the fine gold with the slimes. You know what you're doing. Hooray for you!

I understand that gold gets trapped in clay. Why aren’t there any larger small stones mixed with the gold? I get the black sand mixed and removed with a magnet. There must have been larger sized waste material than was seen in this video. There had to be more to the process than was shown in the video. Thank you that was interesting. You should consider making a full video which shows your whole process from shoveling to ready for sale. 😊
