Hi, In electric guitar sounds, waveforms don't have repeating cycles, and obviously this method can't achieve an acceptable sound. This method is suitable for simulating subtractive synth sounds. I made a video on how to create an electric guitar sound, you can check it out.

Try a saw wave and a waveshaper ;) you can get pretty awesome guitar tones if you know how to distort it.
