It's changed since this video. Now instead of scratching off the silver foil there's a label covering the code, which you have to peel off. Unfortunately that peels off some of the code as well, so basically they've made it worse and it doesn't work.

Thank you Andrew! I was unexpectedly gifted 3 Amazon gift cards of $50 each. Great mention that one needs to open the pocket at the top and find the actual card inside whereby one has to use a coin to scratch off and find the code. Great helpful video!

Amazon should pay you for this. I called customer service and the guy told me I basically can not use the card I need to talk to the person that gifted me bcz they have the code to redeem. Came to this video and got card redeemed easy. Thank you 🙏🏽
