i think it is easyer, to have this as another solid, and mirror copy it over to other side then use direct -> to drag over new solid and rotate, within direct" function you can as well rotate as drag

How can I do this with a sketch from a derived component? I want to derive some geometry from another part and project it onto a sketch in my main part.

+Osmosis Once you bring a derived component in, you can create a sketch and project geometry from the other component.
