How to Reduce False Motion Detection Alerts on your Security Camera System

Thanks for the video! IVS is super great. Intrusion areas work best, coupled with trip wires. None of these should supersede continuous recording though. Always be recording. And I have found that when smart/ivs is enabled it's best to turn off motion detection for those channels. Not only can it mess up all the events record timings log, which makes it a nightmare to scrub for events on playback between the two, but IVS should take the place of motion detection completely. When IVS is set really well, you can drastically and almost entirely eliminate false triggers. Absolutely no need for motion detection too. Just turn off motion detection, set up IVS, and make searching events a pleasure. But always, always record continuous too. Continuous + IVS. All you need- plus the largest hard drives you can afford for longer archiving.

My security cameras 1 and 2 are showing false fake looking like snow cross the viewing screen. Both cameras are for the vehicle and door area of home. Have you had this before? How do I get rid of that..?

Nah I can tell you some cameras do not work completely cause you can fill in the whole tire screen with the squares and it will still go off

If your goal is fewer false alerts, then please know that filling a screen with squares is not going to yield this result. If you need assistance with properly setting up IVS contact a support agent for your hardware. It is highly recommended to seek the proper training in setting this process up as despite sometimes appearing self-explanatory they are not, and require knowledge directly taught by someone who knows these processes very well. Do not attempt to set up IVS or CCTV without proper training.
