How To Reduce Frizz in Humidity

I've been loving the dippity do girls with curls foam & gel together (I brush the foam thru in place of a cream), they are fantastic in humidity! (I'm in central FL too) Also Aveda's flaxseed aloe gel is amazing but it has a "drying" alcohol in it so I know a lot of people are opposed to even trying it. I use it with the be curly curl enhancer (which has silicone in it). Both routines give me 5 days of good hair with zero refreshing.

I actually find my low porosity hair thrives in humidity. It actually feels moisturized and even thought I could go without deep conditioning (i cant but i tried lol). I'll use the curlsmith protein (or air dry) cream and flexi jelly which are my fave summer combo. Ill even air dry and it only takes 3 hours

That makes sense since high porosity hair is more negatively affected by humidity. That product combo is great and also works well for me.

Delilah polyquats give me terrible build up despite clarifying my hair every week! any other gel you could recommend without polyquats that give medium hold? I have fine, low to medium density 2A, super low porosity hair.

Have you tried the Curlsmith Hydro Style Flexi Jelly? No polyquats, just a polymer, so it's really light and feels like nothing is in my hair once I scrunch out the crunch.

What is the best way to get gel in hair when it is damper...brushing gel in can stiffen mine even when soaking wet🫤 Polyquat 69 is made to be water rinseable & super for humidity...it makes my hair SO Stiff...my hair feels like all the water is squeezed out & has no slip when I use it though😢
