Mikey Makey.....To use ALL the toner in a cartridge, COVER the circle windows on each side with masking tape so you won't have any toner left over when it's actually empty. What a waste to throw out all the left over toner. For the Drum just take it out and put it back in and reset back to "O" it thinks it's a new Drum.
