Great! We love out little M201dw because it is such a cheap and useful printer, refilling the cartridges should save us even more. So if we were to refill, should we empty the waste toner each time as well? Same thing, open a hole, dump it out, and plug it again?

Yes, you're more or less on the money there. The instructions that come with my starter kit go into a lot more detail about waste

Well, it's not as though we ever planned to: we've been going since 1992. But a lot of our products aren't compatible with printers in the USA, so it's a complicated issue for the web shop
