I acquired one of these from Bobby great guy took the time to show me how to use it. the price with the calibration solution was extremely competitively priced compared to the other Reef stores . I get consistent results with this tool. all of my plastic floating salinity meters are garbage. I bought 3 Instant Ocean floating salinity meters and they all showed different results. the refractometer measures specific gravity and salinity
