Hello, you're obliged to register yourself up to 8 days from arrival to Lux that you live here with the address

Will this be communicated automatically by the authorities to my home country authorities? I definitely want to keep my main residence in Germany, especially with regard to my student status, insurance, voting rights and so on. Does anyone have any experience with this? Did you have to deregister in your home country?

Hello, you should received two thing 1. Small paper you talk about and you should carry it around with you 2. A4 paper times 3 or 2 with QR code that you will be asked for at the bank for example The thing you talk about should it's a tax card and it should come to your place by mail within 30 days since you strat to work in Lux (not for eu instructions) but your workplace should receive it automatically ☺️

Yup got them all when I registered, so the question remains what is there left to be received through the mail, they also mentioned that something will come in a few days 😅

Hello, you have to ask directly at municipality but I'm pretty sure you can't as it's not gonna be your permanent place of stay but you have few days to do it so just send and email to go to municipality to ask about it - they are very available speaking English and it takes no time ☺️

Hello! Unfortunately, I don't know how visas work and I wouldn't recommend coming without a job because of quite high life expenses 😔 so if I were you, I would find a job first
