For people who sat for board exams through CBSE and are thinking of applying through NIOS, don't because in the JEE ADVANCED 2024 Information Brochure it is clearly mentioned (in maybe page 41 or 42) that marksheet of any other board other than the one you gave in class 12 is not acceptable for improvement. So, for people scoring less than 70% in CBSE boards, I would suggest you take a drop and also improvement next year. The exam will be held in March with other 12th standard students. You can also choose multiple subjects if you give improvement next year. If your score is in between 70-74.9% you can try for improvement this year, but only for 1 subject. For better information check the CBSE FAQ section and JEE ADVANCED Information Brochure.

Can somebody please clear one query.. Bits councelling will commence on in June itself and cbse 12th improvement dates are 15 July and result will come afterwards. Then what am I supposed to do . Will bits accept the result which will come later ?
