Thank you! I had a new one of this model installed recently. The technician came back to do more work. I noticed that my water was no longer hot after that visit. I guess he turned off the pilot and didn't light it up before leaving. This saved me a phone call & another appointment

I turned of part of gas to hook up a new dryer and I guess I needed to re light my water heater. I was so scared lol but I followed the video and it’s lit again thank you so much!!

Tip: When you’re looking at the pilot light hole make sure you’re looking towards the center of the heater. There were some boxes beside my water heater and I didn’t see the pilot light because I wasn’t looking into the opening squarely. Might be obvious to most but it took me a minute to future out - especially because there was no mention about the ~15s wait for the green light on my heater instructions.
