@@559powerscape Looked at two others, this was most correct and easy. As working on cars goes, I always have at least one problem. in this case I loosened the positive terminal but had a terrible time getting it loose enough and had to almost pry it off. Three hands would have been better than two. Thank you!

Just brought mine to an Autozone and they said they couldn’t change the battery for me because they don’t have the proper grounding equipment and could get shocked so here I am on KZbin

First their excuse was the weather since we’ve been at 0 degrees and below this week but after looking at it, it’s too “high risk” to even bother. Luckily my husband’s friend is good with cars so he’s going to do it for us. Also didn’t realize how HEAVY those batteries were lol.

No you dont. the battery was completely dead before this was replaced. no need for a memory saver. the battery was bad and didn't hold charge any longer

Where the cables crossed? was it connected to negative and positive correctly? Sometimes when there's a load it will throw some sparks when you connected which is fine, but if it's throwing sparks somewhere else I'll make sure everything is tied down correctly and secured

I just paid $300 for a new car battery. They say replace your Malibu's battery every four years. OK, so expect to pay an average $65-$75 annually just to have your car start. I don't blame the auto manufacturers as much as I blame our government for telling them the regulations and allowing them to move factories out of the USA so they wouldn't have to employ Americans.
