I never comment on youtube videos, but this just saved my “gummy/sticky” spiderman 2 controller after only three days of use. I gently used the thin end of a toe clipper super gently, and cleaned it with a q tip. Thanks again!

It amazes me how much stronger this button design is compared to the flimsy shoulders on the Xbox controllers And when the RB/LB inevitably breaks on the Xbox controller, you have to take apart the entire face and backplate of the controller to do repairs.

Wow so there are more than one type of triggers. I bought a Scarlett Red pack from Extremerate and the triggers had a slightly different grove set up n wouldn't work. If you are having trouble, that is probably why. Super easy if they are the right ones.

Broke my L1 2 years ago when Elden ring released. I threw the stick on the floor, and the button just popped out. Didn’t notice any whiting of the plastics so I knew it wasn’t really broke. But I also called Best Buy, and a few other places, to which, they all said they didn’t service ps5 remotes. I I got a black control from GameStop. Remember, 2 years ago, not too many vids for ps5 i.t . I got a dualsense edge last year. But still, I had the Og remote that came with the PS5, and “broken l1” , now, my dualsense has stick drift, and the black replacement has stopped powering on completely. So I check KZbin, for I.t for fixing L1 buttons, and thought I’d need tools, etc. nope, it was just a button type module that needed to be pushed back in ….. Thanks man, now I’m back on Shadow of the Erdtree

These controllers are garbage. I have had 2 of them, the first has got drifting problem within a year. Then i bought a brand new one and guess what? within a month the L1 key got sticky for no reason, didn't spill anything on it and i clean it regularly. NEVER buying any controller made by Sony again.
